Hi, Bregalad, new here ! I'm from nesdev, and we are very annoyed by a guy named jargon which spams and spoils about every thread we makes over there and the moderators refuses to ban him under the excuse that he doesn't break any law.

Thank god I've heard he was banned from here so I come here to chat about oldscool vido games without being constantly annoyed. It's the first time I sign up in a forum for a reason that weird by the way.

Oh sorry for being stupid and made a new thread for introduce me. That shouldn't be too catastrophic I hope.
And I sure hope he won't come back here. If he do I'll be forced to search for a place where he has been banned for good. I really can't stand people posing crap in the middle of an interesting thread and taking it over "without breaking any rules" (aka being a lawfull evil in D&D).

Oh it looks great, and looks challenging, but what is the weird thing you implemented ? Levels termintating withtout mario hitting the target ?

Change the mirroring/scrolling mode is very easy with the MMC5 you just have to write to a register $5114 if I remember well but I could be wrong).

You'll have to make significant changes to make the scrolling engine update 16x16 blocks instead of 32x32 and make it scroll vertically as well I guess.

Wasn't the 256 tile limit nor the 4-color limit breaken ? If so then the game *could* technically become a real NES game one day, assuming there is no limit breaking on sprites as well.

Why not name the file *.chr instead of naming it *.nes and made all a paragraph to explain this is not a ROM ? *.chr is commonly used for tile graphics related files I guess.
