I had some thinking about teleportation once. Found out two possible methods of doing it.

1. Converting matter into data, sending it through wires, and at the other side, convert it back into matter. However, how would you convert atoms into electric impulsions?

2. Break the matter into atoms, send it to the other side via some pipe or whatever, and assemble it back at the other side.

But there are problems. First, it must be made sure that matter is reassembled right at the other side. Otherwise, you can still use your teleporter to turn fruit into a smoothie, but you can just use a blender for that, as it's easier and less expensive.

Next, if you choose the first method, the teleporting network must be made secure. Or you'd have hackers send bombs or other shit at places.

So yeah, I figured NeonLayout could become boring for some of you, so I took that new layout of mine I had made for NikoBoard, and adapted it to this board. Each post gets a different random color, but I think it comes up with nicer colors than NeonLayout did.

I'll give you my point of view, idk if it's the exact right one but it should be right.

Bumping an old thread should be done only if you are going to contribute to the thread's topic in a significant way; otherwise chances are that it will be considered spam.

Also don't bump old threads to ask your question; that unless said thread is a questions thread (aka a thread that is meant to receive everyone's questions).

And Firefox 3.6 doesn't support SVGs at all. This, combined with the lack of -moz- versions of box-shadow and border-radius, makes the theme look like an old Acmlmboard theme for me. I dunno about Firefox 4 tho.

Hello, everyone.

Apparently it's been 8 years since I registered on ACMLM. Well, 7 years and 11 months ... close enough.

Hmm. And by "hmm" I mean "holy crap."

Question #1: Is this really the nearest living relative to acmlm.overclocked.org/board?

Question #2: Is anyone from said forum still around? I miss the days of DES/Dejap/etc.

Question #3: Is it okay if I love this board for what it wants to be, and for the board it almost is? It completes me?

And, to answer your questions:
1) This board is the fourth incarnation of Acmlm's Board, and used to be named "Acmlm's Board II" before Acmlm left. blackhole89 next renamed it to board2. So yeah.

2) Well, I wouldn't really know as I wasn't there, but some people from Acmlm's Board are still here, some other people moved to Jul, and some others left.

3) I think so.
