Fractional-Reserve Banking Video - 45 minutes long.

Seriously, people need to get educated about this if you live in the US. Especially with all the issues, you need to understand how this stuff is working. Banks do create money... if you don't think so, you are horribly misinformed. I hated to drag this back up, but with the current problems, people need to know how the stuff works. If people don't understand... and start panicking with the current banking issues... we could be in a world of hurt (The Greater) Depression).

Well I already have a job as a Software Developer at the University here... only problem is it pays only 30k a year, which really isn't that much for the work I'm doing. Granted I get all the health care benefits and cheap tuition, plus I don't have my degree yet so that may be another reason why my pay isn't closer to the regional average for the work I'm doing (around 60k).

Once I get my degree in May, things will probably change, I'll probably still start at a relatively low position wherever I go. Right now I'm looking at Gallup, Google, Yahoo, Paypal, and some insurance places in the area. While I'd love to get into some Systems Administration gig somewhere, I think I've got the best shot at doing development, as I've kind of realized that's what I do best, and over the past few years realized that's what I really enjoy. My final goal is to work someplace where I don't have to get into management to move up "the ladder" so to speak. Gallup is like this, I can be a developer my whole career their and get paid just as much as my managers if that's what my talents fit and what I want to do. Really, the highest I'd want to move up is to a Lead Developer position where I'm the team lead but still doing some development.

Some day down the road, when I'm more experienced etc. I wouldn't mind starting my own development firm or something similar. For this to happen I would probably have to go back to school and get an MBA so we'll see if that ever happens.

If I could go back and time, it'd be to fix the choices I made that were the wrong choices. That being said, my life is still pretty splendid right now even considering I was married for 5 months and then got divorce papers slapped in my face.

And all the stuff you listed, you can still do. Just got to mix it in with your actual responsibilities as well.

And I hate cell phones more than computers, you can't go to dinner or a bar with someone and have a good time with them anymore because they are too busy sending texts and/or talking on your phone.

Dude, you got divorced? That sucks .

But yeah I fucking loved the 90s. Best era ever. I actually wrote a poem once about post 90s alcoholics.

Not yet, takes like 3 months to go final. And it sucks, but I'm better off without a money grubbing bitch that only stayed with me for the money. Told me stuff like she only married me because that is what her parents wanted, etc. I'm better off without her, and now there are no conflicts when I want shit. I want dual 22" monitors, I can buy it... etc.

Posted by knuck

Then I met her and now all I look forward for is the future. I like the past it was cool and all, but I'm no longer in the okkusenman4lyf mood anymore.
If I could go back in time I'd do everything the same way I did before, every good thing and every mistake, I'd do them again, because that's what made me become what I am today.
What's done is done~
No regrets, never looking back, that's how we pierce heavens!

Yeah, there's only one thing I would change if I went back, and it's not even not getting married to the woman who's divorcing me now. I'd probably still do it. And even the thing I would change isn't such a big thing that it would have made any difference in shit.

Plus the future is good. Life is too depressing if you just do nothing but sit around and remember how good the past is, gotta go make more memories instead of mope about.

Shit man, this is exactly why I don't want to get married for a long time. How long was your engagement?

Dated for over 3 years... engaged for a year... married for 5 months. Nothing wrong with marriage, in fact like I said I'd do it all over again. I still feel she is the right one for me, she doesn't think I'm the right one for her. Gotta go both ways.

But at this point, I don't think I'd take her back if she came... I guess that will be a future decision if it happens .

Besides allergies, I'm never sick. Which sucks because I've got 100's of hours of sick time built up at work that I will never use.

With soda mixed with alcohol.

Or in iced tea.

That's about it.

I like google chrome, especially how quick it renders pages and stuff. Once they add extensions I'll probably give up on firefox. I also love how each tab is it's own process so if one page crashes you just lose the tab and not the whole flippin browser. Very nice.

Finally got an Xbox 360 and PS3

Been playing through the following...

Halo 3
Fable 2
Left 4 Dead
Fallout 3
Oblivion
Little Big Planet
Resistance

Those are what I'm playing / playing through right now... soon Resistance 2, Killzone 2, and Bioshock will probably be added. I've got a lot of catching up to do.

Some kid at the bar the other night wanted to fight. I stood up and told him to hit me. He didn't...

Never really been in a fight, I think if I ever got into one I'd have a pretty large advantage being 6'3" and weighing 225 lbs.

Been playing through it with a friend on his PS3, gonna probably end up buying it for my 360 or PS3 (prob 360). Definitely a sweet game. Shotgun is definitely the best gun when you're getting mobbed, but I prefer going for head shots with the pistol.

I'd say that I wish Kyouji was my boyfriend too, but... I just can't. Boys are icky.

*Inserts post about how all Lesbians really just need a nice deep dicking to set them "straight"*

I loled.

At work.

Co-workers now staring at me like I'm some sort of freak.

Danielle is cool though, as she is also a fan of the clitoris, speaking of which, I need to locate my "The C stands for clitoris" hat

Bedroom:

Dual 22" LG Monitors hooked up to to my rig, 37" Vizio LCD with another PC attached to watch videos via boxee.

Living Room:

42" LG LCD with PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii, also a Mac Mini for boxee stuff as well (videos, music, etc. streaming from online and my media server).

Also got two laptops, Dell Mini 9 for ultra portability and another Dell (not mini) for when I plan on doing development on the road. I prefer to sit down to a Desktop to do dev work though.

Maybe will get some pics up later.
