Damn! That kinda makes me Jealous. I'm not sure if my computer has Japanese support but it should have. I haven't tried the kit yet the one Googie have.

I don't have WinXP so applocale won't work with Win98. I don't know if Rock2-e is compatable with Win98 or not but I hope it does. Otherwise I have to wait until I buy a new WinXP laptop or install a desktop Win98 to WinXP.

sorry to hear that insectduel, i hope you can get it to work for you, i really like the interface and everything. I was hoping it had something where i could edit the title screen but no go on that, I think i have to use visine for that, i tried to run that on dosbox last night and it just loads to a grey screen.

**update, got visine to work as well, really nifty little program as well.

just a heads up, i tried this out in mednafenx-nes for xbox and the game loads fine but when you leave the palace with the princess the screen starts blinking and everything turns into solid color blocks, im thinking maybe the timing is off for this game on the emu.

I can say that this does with fce-ultra for xbox just fine.

Once again, thanks ice-penguin!!

I've had this problem with several emulators.
Fixed it by patching the correct ROM.

@Ice Penguin: Great job, really! I only would be even happier if I had some kind of Walkthrough. I'm stuck at the same point as optomon (at least I think I am). And I'm playing the hard version (it IS hard).

Well then tell me what correct rom did you use and what emu you are using, i used the rom specified in the readme and i can get it to work on fce ultra for xbox but not mednafenx-nes, please do tell me something if i am missing it.

Enough with the fucking megaman hacks.
Oh...? Seems like I'm not alone in the club...

what's your hate with the megaman hacks? SO it's ok to have like 56 million threads about super mario hacking and the like but something new gains some steam and you guys are saying enough is enough?? Why does mario get treated differently?? I started this thread because i wanted to know about a rockman hack and immediately get flamed with "enough with the fucking megaman hacks" Give me a break, if you don't like rockman and megaman hacks why bother posting in this thread.

Im sure you would love it i chimed in on your hack thread with "Enough with the ---- fucking hacks.

i have been/am completely over it. It just does not make any sense, like i stated before i started this thread for a discussion on a certain rockman hack and then i get flamed for it, but whatever, im glad that some people on here actual have some useful things to say and that this thread has helped someone.

No point in pointless bickering trax, im not an internet drama queen and im pretty sure you arent either. Point plain and simple, if you don't like rockman hacks dont post in the thread. By the way i didnt sound off as megaman being new persay but rather the hack at that point in time i was trying to locate.

Hi all, i recently uploaded to acmlm a mario hack i found on the net called mario mania, it comes with the ips but with a .bin file as well? Anyone know exactly what i need to do to get this hack to work? It will not work unless i do something with the bin file included.

Hopefully someone can shed some info on this, here is the link

http://acmlm.no-ip.org/uploader/get.php?id=220

Please someone let me know, this looks like a great hack.

The main reason I stopped working on the hack was because I didn't know what to do with the password system. The second one was that I had no plans to update the graphics, and in fact was stumped on a couple upgrade graphics and how to draw them. I am NOT an artist, and anything I do is using the original sprites. Lastly, I just switch projects too fast. On top of this I have a Legacy of the Wizard hack I haven't finished, and an Equinox hack that's only done up to level 2. That, and I was messing with Megaman X3, and now Megaman X(found scrolling data for X3 and sprite data for X). I was tempted to start hacking Soulblazer and find stuff on that game too.

As you all know, my strength is in finding stuff, not making hacks. I churn out data in hopes that people will be interested in using it.

hey man keep working on the megaman hack please, all the more the better and i dont think i have ever seen a legacy of the wizard hack ever, one of my fav games for nes, please do keep us updated, if you ever decide to do a one level beta for it, please let me know.

And to keep this thread on topic this is one of the best megaman hacks i have played, i does have the new game feel, cant wait for the whole hack to be finished, i was def wanting more. Between this and megaman ultra 2 its gonna be a blast. Job well done!!
