This game was just released in Canada. I was just randomly scrolling around GameFAQs and saw a review for it. I actually laughed at how stupid the concept was when I first glimpsed at it - but after reading the review, I was thinking *Damn, this game looks great!*
It's basically a mix of Final Fantasy and Bejeweled. The main quest is very deep, and the overworld is huge, but the thing that really sets this game apart from others is the fighting system. You pretty much play Bejeweled in the fights (match 3 or more of the same colour to get Mana, match 3 skulls to do damage, 4 of a kind gets an extra turn, 3 gold gets money, etc) There are also special abilities if you match enough of one colour that do some pretty cool effects. This game is awesome so far. Does anyone else have it and would like to share their thoughts? I've noticed the enemies get pretty friggin hard right away, in terms of there effects and stuff. I mean, seriously, it totally pisses me off when I have enough mana to perform a devastating awesome godly spell, and then the enemy casts some unknown mana drain and kills my hopes.
Not to mention what Colin said about the really annoying 4-skulls (and half the time they're glowing  )

That one is easy. Whoever created it hit random buttons to form a sort of code, and by a random fluke it just happen to be Acmlm.

Hmm. Looks fine to me if you plan on adding the detail. I would recomend taking that little random piece (cliff part) out on the middle right, ploped right in the middle of the main area. It just looks .. weird

Speakers all the way. The only time I ever use headphones is if I'm listening to my MP3 Player or something (which is, like, never )

Looking good. The first submap though (with castle 1) has a really strange looking cliff at the top of it. It looks flat when it should look round. Try adding tiles to make it seem more 3D and then it will be fine.

The hidden coin got old quickly. The only time I laughed at it was at 1:03 when he hit it before the fireball. That was well-played.
