I've been playing Mega Man 2 on difficult mode a lot lately. I use the pass word to go straight to Wily's fortress and try to beat my time record.

At first I thought it was something I did to make it appear but I guess not.

P.S. Please don't comment on that screen shot. It's a very incomplete screen shot of my hack (I haven't really worked on the title screen yet).

I have to go to school tomorrow for regular classes and then Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for exams. After that I'll probably just sleep in late, work on my hack, play video games, post on this board for the duration of the summer.

This is a great update (darn exams made me miss the first day of it though). Although why does it seem that almost every person that now has a signature also has a big empty space beneath it?

This is my Summer desktop. I was looking for something from a Sonic game and I thought that this image fit the season.

I really need to delete some of those installers in the top right. I keep them in case I need to reinstall something for some reason.

It definitively looks like it could be used as a menu screen for an RPG. The bottom left corner could be used to list attacks and the bottom right could be used to list items. Just a thought though. Although since there is a menu bar I'm guessing it's supposed to be a level editor.

I know it's pretty late (or early) but I decided that before I shut off my computer I would give this hack a shot.

The level and overworld design is pretty well done. Although a problem I encountered is that the level tile for Yoshi's Garden doesn't appear after I beat Garden Entrance. The next thing I noticed is...

A-when entering this room the screen positioning is off (this is also an issue with some other pipes but it's the worst here).

B-The background is a bit messed up

Ok now lets look at the next screenshot.

This one isn't to big of a deal but it should probably be fixed (the same applies for the escalator on the other side of the lava).

-In the level Yoshi Lake the message box at the beginning of the level has no message in it.

-The underground area in Confuzzle Forest 1 has a yellow ! block that always appears even if the switch wasn't activated.

-The goal posts at the end of Confuzzle Forest 1 need to be one block higher because the tape goes over the posts.

After finding the normal exit in Confuzzle Forest 2 the path that leads to Confuzzle Forest 3 cuts off half of the tree.

Either I'm really tired or his hack is brutal as far as difficulty goes. A good example of this would be the beginning of Confuzzle Forest 1 when you climb up the vine or even the first world with challenges where you need to hop on enemies to proceed (In Yoshi's Forest 3 there is a Bananza Bill that comes at you so early that it is almost impossible to bounce off of it and land on the platform).

Wow it took me over an hour to do all that! Anyway In closing I think that some levels had a lot of creativity in them. The only problem was that some levels were way to hard.

In the second: Can you go through it, or just from the side, or what?

Sorry. I should of mentioned that you can only go through them from the side.

maybe you could have someone use mind control, that would work out.

That sounds a lot like what Nastilia does from Super paper Mario. I would like to see Bowser as a boss at least somewhere in the game. What I think you should do is something like in MegaMan 4-6 where Wily would manipulate others into doing his work without anyone even knowing that he was behind all of it.

I really like French toast with eggs and sausage. I don't have it to often though because I'm always in a big rush in the morning .

I went to Wal-Mart yesterday and noticed that it was out. I came home and did some research on it before I buy it and it seems like it may of been a good idea. IGN said that you can't watch youtube videos on it which I really would of like to do. Is it worth $40can to buy it or should I save it for something else?

You can't:
itmes (becaus that level not had that itmen box... )
you also can't collect lives

You can collect powerups. The only problem that may occur is if you collect another powerup while you already have one.

I didn't notice any problem with 1ups. I once played a hack where the player got one in the intro level and I even just tried it out in my own hack.

There's an easy way to figure this out:

Will you be browsing with your DS often, when not at home?

If no, why buy it? If yes, then you have a use for it.

(I say "not browsing at home", because seirously -- the only reason for internet browsing on a DS at home is epenis lol.)

Well that is part of the problem. I'm going on a trip this summer and was thinking the browser might be useful. The problem is that I don't know how many places I go to during this trip will have hot spots . I probably won't end up getting and just wait for an actual game to come out.

When I first found out how to insert ExGFX I just used a SMW ROM that wasn't modified to experiment with. Then once you get the hang of it you can try it in your hack. As for the Map16Page.bin question, everytime I insert new ExGFX I get rid of the old Map16Page files.

Also...One of my levels uses FG-style ground for the BG. Did I do something wrong? (I didn't use ExGFX--I copied and pasted the tiles I wanted to Map16 page 13, and set the BG page to 13. Then I built the BG myself.) The problem is...how do I change the palette so it doesn't look like part of the FG? The ground uses the same swatches, no matter where it is, so what the hell!? I tried using Dark BG level header, but the whole level went black in the ROM. Doh!

I'm probably just tired but I don't really understand what you're trying to say. If you want to change the background palette all you have to do is click the star on the menu bar and change the BG palette from the drop down menu titled "BG Palette X (X = a number from 0-7).

I hope that helps.
