Just a quick update!
The progress is going quite fast and I have started to work on several levels. There will be some big sceneries here and there not very much unlike Mega Man X had. Also, this Maverick Revenge is gonna have a "new" soundtrack Hopefully, with some tunes that fits my level design better then the original Mega Man 5 music. |

Alright, so I could need some help with this now cause I seriously can't figure it out!
Iam trying to change the Y position of the bossdoors wich I suppose is quite simple, if you know what to do... well, what I have accomplished is that I have watched the Nes memory in the hex editor of FCEUX and tried to figure out what steers the doors. But no matter what I change, it just screws the doors up and also it changes the doors to all the levels to that! Lets say I want to change the doors at Napalm Man's level, and only the first door. Do I first have to figure out where Napalm Mans level is in the hex editor and then change the doors? Not that I know how to figure out where Napalm Mans level is... I don't even know if Iam doing anything right at the moment, and I have realy tried to make it work myself, but I cant! Of course I want help with this so I can change it. But I also need to know how you should do to figure out what to do! I need to know the steps I should take, cause I cant even walk damit! (if that makes any sense...) |

I couldnt resist making a video like I usualy do with some random clips of what I have so far. It's still far from being complete but I'll tell ya, Iam working all day and night on it!

Posted by RetroRain thanx alot! all comments means alot. altough I dont do any special asm hacking, there is tons of work behind my hacks. however, Iam trying my best to learn 6502 asm. but damn... its hard... but ive figured out some simple things lately, like how to change palettes with just hex. iam also near to figure out how to change tile table load in different places. wich Iam proud of now.. iam gonna drink my beer and wreck my guitar |

Posted by Atari1128 its the blocks you build the levels with. backgrounds, walls, ladders, watter etc. apparently the wall block behaves like background blocks = you wont be able to walk anywhere |

but you dont want to start with n64. its like playing guitar, you dont start with a michael angelo song, you start with knocking on heavens door or something easier like that |

it's a great romhack this time to. altough, as pointed out, there are alot more to work on. i liked chrono man's stage alot more this time! it was funnier and looked better then in the last demo. ow, dont know if you know about it, but 2 glitches i found was that the first boss(intro stage) had wrong tileset first, then it changed. and the bossdoors into him aint correct working. just so you know, cause i suppose there is like thousands of things to fix and look after when making a hack this big |

iam sorry i think i was mixing it up with some other door. it was 1 door somewhere on the first stage that showed wrong tile colour under the door when it opened up. not a big deal realy |
