I figured as much have you ever heard of super jukebox by marius fodor ?

If you have a very good ear like I do, this will come in handy when your making mega man x or whatever snee remake songs.

Listen to the spc by channels and disable it one by one.
Once you can properly indentify it, see if you can find a sample and match it up to the original so it will sound better/

Still good video though.

Okey, thanx. But Iam not using samples but only synths, plugins and so on.

I have uploaded a few more trax since last time also, check them if you want

I know you're not using samples, I gave you that program so you can reference directly from the spc while making your covers.

I'll drop this off here, I wasn't planning on releasing some of my yet until they were fully fixed.
I thought I might share some tunes here and there.

Oh I understand =) Thanx. When I do a cover I mostly just listen to the original from youtube or wathever to hear what I think is needed. Althou Iam more interested in making the music into my own versions. So it doesn't really need to be so exact as the original one. As long as it sounds good.

Iam doing a big upgrade at the moment with both new software and hardware, hence why I havent done anything lately.

I have a Question. In Megaman 4 how do I make it where If I want to make the screen scroll a different direction. Example: Lets say in a level I have to go up the ladder to the next screen but I want to instead drop down to another screen below.

Depends on what editor you use. But it has something to do with the scrolling.

*risks saying he didnt ever use a hex editor or a gfx editor =D*

i currently have a life situation. i barely have a crappy old computer (Windows 98...) and an android (i used android and dosbox to make this.) so...

i cant really edit GFX or input new SFX (like music.) so.. yeah.

i can take all kinds of criticism. And I thank you all for it...

Yeah, its terrible for a first hack (messed up the title screen as you guys see.)

but can I ask this?: wasnt the Heat Man and Quick Man battles slightly challenging? a bit?

I dont think you need anything special computer wise Think about that the games you are hacking and editing were made in the 80's... and, well they had way worse computers than you have! Iam just trying to be positive here.

Alright let me point to everyone that still have interests in Mega Man Forever.

Matrixz clearly cancelled the project, so the answer to dreamerman's question that really bumps the thread and thinking that the game actually has updates is just too good to be true, but really it's not.

Back in 2011, I never knew the project is gone when someone PM'ed me on YouTube. The true reason why Mega Man Forever is cancelled because if bad criticisms. But tell me, what about Rockman 4MI? It's much more superior than Forever.

Anyway, for those never take a peek at Matrixz's blog? There you go! It's clearly written here.

For those that urging Matrixz to complete Mega Man Forever, why don't you complete Mega Man Forever. You know, make some mock up levels that comes from your imagination.

I can't see the point of this thread going on but there won't be anymore projects from Matrixz so deal with it. There are other projects to check on including fan games from the Rockman PM community. But hey, even some of mine is discontinued so I don't know when I should get back with my Mega Man projects.

Although Rockman MI has more advanced ASM coding I prefer Matrixz choise in music, level design and so on. I dont think MI sounds like a Mega Man game at all, wich is a shame, he has the skills to make an excelent game.

Hey guys.

I have a question about Ocarina of Time.
Would it be alot of work to do a hack that makes the game run in 60fps? As far as I know N64 do use some kind of ASM language. However there it is not possible at all to make it run in higher fps with a emulator without making the whole game go to fast.

I suppose it would be alot of work. But it would be realy awesome.

I run the game with ReShade FX and it do look stunning compared to the original, but the fps is realy killing it(actualy around 20... *Ubisoft style*).

Here's a video of how it can look like!

It's great that you talk about this. Iam sorry I cannot help, I don't know anything about how either N64 or OOT works. I do know however that there is a hack for example Banjo Kazooie that will make it run in 60fps. But I think OOT is completely different than that game so it may not be as easy.
