Posted by koala_knight Maybe I can. Since Alia never used any armor upgrades like Megaman X does, it is possible to create an assembly where I can make her fit in the Megaman X engine without resizing her. Although, why make her while I don't need any X tiles with equipped armor. I am more concenred about the 16bit palette. Alia comes in about 24bit palette so recoloring her isn't easy. It's gonna take a lot of work for it though it. Posted by Kawa You make me sick about cutting the Pokemon evolution. |

My current TAS video is a utter failure due to a fucking slowdown .AVI recording on my laptop. Playing FCE Ultra 0.98.28 won't run in my laptop at all and FCE Ultra X runs really slow. My laptop is the only one has sound audio while my desktop computer does not. ):
Why does my desktop runs my Emus perfectly than my laptop. At least some Emus I play on my laptop are slow. Link Sorry about hosting a link because embedding is disabled for a reason to prevent sharing. I have other future TAS runs in the future though based on ROM-Hacking. |

Posted by Ailure It's only for Tool-Assisanted Speed Runs only and certain BETA hack runs that made by another author. That also includes Reimu Hakurei in Rockman 2 video I downloaded from IKA's webpage. |

Most ROM hackers don't actually release Assembly patches. Even I don't sometimes.
Why METAL BLADE, it's oblivously the same thing. If I were editng the AI of the Rolling Cutter weapon from Megaman 1 and create an ASM where I shoot the similar type of that metal blade weapon you will get the same result. Obliovously, without editing the Shadow Blade's GFX, you will only firing only Shadow Blade Shuriekens. But it's a really cool ASM though for MM3. |

I don't mean to sound rude but why is everyone started Megaman 9 hacking. It's just released. I've heard posts including moonspeaking posts about porting Megaman 9 into a real NES cartridge. Including playing it with the emulator. Even some other ROM-Hacker wants to do MM9 database.
What's more irratating, I saw a video on YouTube with Megaman 9 Mechanics in a Mega Man 4 hack. Plug Man and Concreate Man's level to be exact. I hope it don't make an official release anytime soon. Well, thanks for relasing it but I won't use it on my current MM1 hack I'm working on. Maybe sometime in the future. |

I hope Megaman 9 comes with it's own level editor like Megaman Powered Up for the PSP console. In fact not many ACTUAL wii games other than Smash Bros. has their own editors. |

I haven't even play any Zelda II hacks yet or the orginal game. I better give this one a shot. I do love Zelda games though.
I am not sure which Zelda II rom should I patch it with but I hope I don't have any bad Zelda II roms I have. |

Damn! That kinda makes me Jealous. I'm not sure if my computer has Japanese support but it should have. I haven't tried the kit yet the one Googie have.
I don't have WinXP so applocale won't work with Win98. I don't know if Rock2-e is compatable with Win98 or not but I hope it does. Otherwise I have to wait until I buy a new WinXP laptop or install a desktop Win98 to WinXP. |

That's a nice move infidelity. Unfortunely, there is a missing part of the thrown blade, which is the number of blades before reducing power. The orginal Mega Man 2 has 4 blades so it is hard to find data in Mega Man 3 without the use of the FCEUXD Code/Data logger.
The offset in the US Megaman 3 is at x3DF41 ($DF31). Offset x3DF39 ($DF29) in the Japanese version of Rockman 3. If you change the value to 04, it will shoot 4 blades instead of the orginal 2 blades. And here's the database for the Japanese Rockman 3 in case Japanese ROM-Hackers need this. x3D2E7 - That will allow you to fire in all directions even down (Change Value to 0F) x3D2F8 - Blade range increases dramaticly and does not return (Change Value to 99) x3D353 - This will allow you to fire 3 blades (Change Value to 03) x3DF39 - Number of Blades before reducing power (Change Value to 04) And, I've also wrote the data in ASM or refer as disassembly format. It is copied from the 6502 debugger. In the Japanese Rockman 3, it starts in RAM offset $D2CF. Some JSR, JMP or even LDA’s RAM offset may be different between the US Megaman 3 and Japanese versions of Rockman 3. The Shadow Blade disassembly I wrote is currently from the US version of Megaman 3.
Download Yeah, I don't like having extra patches either but mine is far too worse if you try this one. |

Posted by Dr. Hell If you're attempting to use MM9 graphics for Megaman 1, be aware of the 128 tile limit. I wish someone would do a 256 tile limit for Megaman 1 and 2. Megaman 3-6 has 256 tiles oer each level. |

I don't have ASM for Super Mario All-Stars but I have the infomation I have in one in my documents. SWR most likely took all the credit but I added some additional ones myself.
Also, be aware that SNES assembly is different than the NES and it uses 65816. This thread will cover SNES Assembly. And you should need either vSNES or SNES professional ASM kit. I haven't work with SMAS in a LONG while but I don't think I should get with it right now. |

I am already aware about using YouTube vids to port into .mp3's or some other audio format. I'm saying if people could just use TAS speedruns for something stupid in order to provide music or whatever what they are using. But it still may have huge space to convert and download vid's from YouTube.
Here's the "Japanese" video site that everyone is related which is Nico Nico Douga. I wanted to port Nico Nico vid's into another .AVI .MPG, or .MOV file and use it in my own YouTube account. I found a good video on an upcoming hack of Rockman 2 on Nico Nico and I need to convert and use it as my own video. |

Ah, man. You stole one of my future projects but oh well. I wasn't ready for it but you can have it now. Anyway I don't think Megaman 5 would be a choice though. Even though MM5 has Beat and MM4 has the Rush Marine, I would choose MM4 as one of my projects and code Beat with Assembly replacing the Wire weapon. Totally useless weapon.
Of course, I haven't seen any decent MM5 level hacks yet but I seen most vids via Nico Nico. And if you play Rockman Megaworld (MM The Wily Wars) and use a weapon cheat where you use MM3 weapons in one of the MM1 or MM2 water levels, it would be totally helpful. I'm going to hack that game about 2010 or 2011 when I'm looking for data on my own. Unless you're going to do the whole rom from scratch and code everything from every single Mega man engine. Then I love to play that type of game. Best of luck of everything with your MM5 Project. Seems like a good idea. Anyway here's one of my own vids on Megaman 5 in Cut Man's level as an example. EDIT: The other reason why Megaman 4 is better because of the Rush Coil. I don't like the modified one in Megaman 5. |

I don't think I'm ready to play Zelda II hacks yet. I haven't play the original version yet and it's my first time playing it. I don't know any walkthroughs in the original verson so it's best for me to play it first.
Thanks for the patch. Your seems nice. |

I was thinking. For future references, what about editing the Title Screen using tilesets. |

That's what I meant, by Metatiles. I don't understand Beta's Title screen editor but Mana's version is just turn the Title screen to the pipe palette. |

Mega Man: Redux seems like a good name to me. Better than Megaman 5 Megamix or other titles. |

I don't like the whole idea of disabling the Slide, M. Buster, or Rush in this one unless it's bonus feature. I know rush never used in Megaman Powered Up but using Rush might be good for custom MM1 levels. |
