That's a pretty good designing so far. I can't wait to see more.

I don't know much about Japanese software especially Pokemon Synthesis used for Japanese Fire Red and Leaf Green games. I hope this might help.

Applocale can open any software in a current default langauge setting. I should try it with a Japanese default setting on my computer when it gets fixed possibly Today or Tomorrow.

When you open Applocale, be sure you choose Mega FLE X, then "English" as the setting.

I hope this helps.

First, of all. I am not a fan of your level designing. And every level designer must encounter and fix bugs. Especailly the doors data either by hand with the level RAM data or the TSA editor. Pretty nice boss rooms designs but no game ever does that.

Sprite designers can be hard to look for. Ask Thantos-Zero or Mega Man Omega. They're professional spriters.

Comet Woman? That was MegaPhil X's sprite from Mega Man Unlimited.

Modified version Brightman seems awesome. I coded it's sound while using bullets and using it's Flash stopper like in the Rockman World 4 game.

I'd like to see your own Brightman.

I prefer Toad Man. Toad Man is cool looking, but he is too easy in MM4. You could make him harder, and give him some new attacks to make him way more fun to fight.

Or just modify it's AI like in the Mega Man Game Gear version.

WTF? No one seems to vote Ring Man. He's my 2nd favorite.

Insect Duel is a Yu-Gi-Oh duelist Username. I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh and my deck uses both Dark Attributes and Insect-Types. Including my combo cards, Insect Barrier and DNA Surgery.

My deck also holds Dark Magician, Insect Queen, and Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth.

You should call it Halo Woman. You need at least 1 Woman in the Mega Man series.

I wanted MM1 and some MM2 songs for my Mega Man IV hack as well when my brother decides to spend his work money to fix my rebooting PC.

I can easily take some MM6 sound effects and insert it to my 4 hack but what about other music that isn't any Capcom games using MMC3.

The Rockman MegaWorld/The Wily Wars is completly different than the NES version, but if Matrixz is able to put some of the Megaworld songs into Forever. Maybe I should use all MM1 and MM2 Megaworld songs but creating it from scratch using the MMC3 music engine can be a problem for me.

Not to mention that you need a good knowledge of making .NSF's AND knowing MIDI pretty well with the MMC3 mapper using Famitracker. I'm still going to ask someone who has a good knowledge with MMC3 music.

Can anyone tell me the music pointers for MM4? I think I'll start with the music hacking, cause I'm having a case of "level hacking block".

Music hacking can be hard if you try to create something new that isn't Capcom's MMC3 music. With the right MMC3 music header edits and notes, you'll do fine. Mega Man 3 through 6 uses the same music format. Mega Man 1 and 2 uses MMC1 so they aren't the same thing.

When I look for music headers, I use my FCEUX Debugger. It helps. All music rom offsets in Mega Man 4 goes from $3A010 to $4000F. You just debug the music for only 1 level. Let the whole music play. Then open your FCEUX hex editor and you should see highlighted blue hex codes there.

Good luck!

There's always a simple problem with SMB1 roms with different dumps. The one you're looking for is Super Mario Bros (JU) [!].

Or try correcting the dump with the utility called SMB1 Fix made by YY.

It should play with any Emulator including FCE Ultra.

That was a cool document for newbies or someone who has full knowledge with Megaman music .

I may want to do a music document for Mega Man IV, seriously.

Why is everyone always asking for Rockman 4 MI? It's a rare hack for most newbies but some of the sites including mine have linking sites to Puresabe's homepage.

Rockman 4 MI has no status whats so ever except his last shown update is the 8 way scrolling test for Dive Man's stage. I didn't think ANYONE would sucessfully made that code for Rockman 4/Mega Man IV.

The name of Puresabe's page is Neoぼろくず工房. There should be a banner for most websites.

I have a Mega Man IV hack of my own too but I decided to cancel it due to hard-drive failure and my mother and brother haven't done anything about it in the last 3 months. My Causcasian girlfriend really tried but it's not good enough.

I was forced to quit ROM-Hacking.

I'm bored so I'll post this little IRC til Mod/Admin shows up.

I still have people asking me questions about my work, even if I'm retired this hobby.

You proberly haven't heard of me retiring this career since December 31st, 2009. I didn't want it this way, but because my PC isn't fixed. I have no choice but to retire. People still asking me about SMB1, SMB2J and MegaMan.

Sorry for not being more in depth, but:
Mega Man 4 (E)
So far, I've continuously failed at making boss doors open in Mega Man 4. They always act as walls. Can someone explain to me:
*Why this is happening
*How to get it to work
*and how to change the tiles behind the doors when they open

It's the scroll problem. The Boss doors has it's own scrolling so you should find it and use it in the current and next rooms.

Since people using Multimedia Fusion 2 with N64 Mario's Mega Man Engine, MegaGirl another fight story is no longer used as a ROM Base for Mega Man 1. Because the NES engine is limited, it's impossible to design sprites with limited palettes. This game may be moved to Multimedia Fusion 2 instead of using a ROM.

Instead of continuing with MegaGirl for Mega Man 1, I am going to revert every boss sprites designs into different ones. Cirno remains to be used. However, the new Mega Man 1 hack is moved as a Japanese port Rockman 1 game called Rockman AF (Alter Force). However, I can only do this hack using my Windows 98 laptop since Rock n' Roll editor works on that OS and my GFX card is upgraded thanks to Carol. The project is already started.

Mega Man 4 Dr. Light's Conquest is still unable to continue due to rebooting problem on my Windows XP desktop and I don't know when my Mother and Brother is going to start taking action.

Let's see now. Decisions, and Decisions.

For Mega/Rockman Hackers, the Top three kuja killer, Matrixz, and infidelity goes on my list. And I done the January 2010 hack of the month voting polls. People voted more with Mega Man Ultra 2. Then Ririka came along but become inactive since after Christmas.

SMB3 Hacking, might be Mineyl, zbyte, Dahrkdaiz, and Quick Curly.

Randomless goes for Googie (Before he quit), Torin, SePH, messiaen, willj168.

So much Rom-Hackers to vote for. 1 for each game of choice.
