No Zelda game will EVER have this before. I hope the real programmers would make some Wii Zelda games based on the future or city.



I've studied the Mega Man IV password data for a week and I kinda figure out how it works. It's still on beta test because the passwords may be wrong if set improperly. I have to make sure everyone gets a fair game. Oh and it prevents cheaters anyway. But I can't stop them from using Save States.

I already add the data on Datacrystal. Feel free to look and try the code.

Tell Yosaku to say hi! I spent a week finding this data.

I can add new codes whatever I need to but trying to create something unoriginal can be more hard.

If you remember my breath meter code for Mega Man IV, I have tried to correct it but it's still buggy (Even the Rush Marine effect). I was able to make Mega Man recover the meter (Or while it shows up) while splashing but anything else to the code can be complicated. I can't even create the dying part of the code when it's health reaches 0 while in water and acts like a zombie.

I need codes that make sence. It remains unreleased to the 2nd attempt but I won't be doing it for a while.

Most of them are buggy but here's mine I recently use.

Good to have you back. I had the same problems back and now. I was hoping I didn't even lose all my projects.

Back in October 2006, installing libaaryfiles while trying to get MegaFLE X working for Windows 98 actually killed my computer activating the virus.

January 2007: restored, but hard drive fails to upload any files connected to the internet.

February 2008: Hard Drive fixed at the cost of $560 without any deleted projects. I was able to host my SMB2J+2 at the time I register to Board 2.

December 2008: Power supply shuts down. My custom gfx for my Megaman 1 hack and even all mugen files were all gone. My Windows 98 is still at Workforce 1 but I never got it back again.

December 2008 (Before New years): Got my Windows XP. Back to romhacking again.

April 2009: Monitor broken, then brought it for $80.

I had all my expereinces but my lucky 4GB flash drive backs it up for now. I don't want to lose current Mega Man IV project but I already have MM1 on ice because of lost of interest.

You had my support and I urge you to take your time on your projects.

That's what came to my mind also, people keeps forgetting that this is a hobby & not a career. So what if graphics are ripped and such, as long as we have a hack/mod that we can enjoy. Well, I just hadda add my $2...

I never have problems for me. I can send them all by E-mail like I did with fabian summers. Some hacks like Rockman 2URA or Rockman 2 SP can't be downloaded in Taiwan.

Yeah, it's kinda like SMAS gfx in SMW all over again. I do enjoy Rockman 5 Dood in Gate mostly.

Rockman Sparking to Hero

Do you remember the video I showed a while ago about editing password data for Mega Man IV. Seems like Yosaku responded it. That's good right. The world needs more MM4 projects with changed Passcodes since Rockman 2 Grayzone.

About my own password layout. I don't know what designs I should have. Or I should leave it unmodified. Anyone have suggestions about my own password layout, feel free to ask me about it. For now, the layouts remain unchanged.

I will eventually edit the boss AI behavior for my Mega Man IV hack. Not as creative as Matrixz but will add custom ASM statistics for the original 8 bosses.


Mega Man 4 Dr. Light's Conquest

It may not be the best looking Password Layout design and I was inspired by Yosaku by looking at his own Password Layout to do one myself. Editing the TSA graphics are difficult but I tried my best but it's I can do.

Yosaku has his creative best looking password layout, I have my own.

Actually, I kinda did try to rip Mega Man III's mugshot lining but I don't have anymore TSA space and the TSA space is too short and may overwrite other stuff like Weapons menu and Title Screen.

Thanks, but I'm fine with the bosses AI coding and sprite boss designs in my Mega Man IV hack remain unchanged. I've just need to be creative that no hack ever coded before comparing to Rockman STH. However, my Mega Man 1 hack does need to be redesigned sprites and coding since my own female sprites I drew isn't very good at all.

I may not be the best Rom-Hacker here but most people outside of this board think I'm one of the best programmers esepcially if I'm hacking Mega Man titles. I edit 2 sometimes, never edited 6, hacked 4 and 1 mostly, occassionally 3 and 5.

That includes the past projects I've done. Afterworld 8 is one of the popular SMB1 hacks I created.

For some reason, when Me and Konchuu look at our Rockman hacking rankings at our forum, I was consider one of the music editings being unknown. That is my problem because I don't have knowledge in music hacking either. I don't know when I should start but finding data is easy but actually doing it yourself isn't.

And now, being on the same level as Rock5easily really wanted me to work harder on my Mega Man IV hack. I've been coming up some ASM ideas I never done before since my summer season.

Nothing new actually, just expanding the text tables and change the weapon palette colors. I'm starting the weapon menu editing.

The data already goes to datacrystal. I will continue to find Rom offset data for Mega Man IV if I find any.

I don't know much about the Title Screen editing for Megaman 3-6 but I'm not very good designing it without screwing the sprite data up and text tables. That also means that I have to move it's new position.

I already know it works the same way as you make levels but I'm not a good designer.

Oh hey insect, i was going to say you could go ahead and like make a page on data crystal if you want about this game, it's totally okay. Assuming that those guys dont attempt to totally destroy all the rom hacking information of that site like how they once tried to totally delete the whole entire list of megaman 2 hacks.



I haven't touch the hacks list in a long time other than adding data. But too lazy to write info on Rockman Sparking to Hero's updates. Sure, I'll add and write the info starting tonight.
