Oblivously the best hack of the year I played is Touhoumon before I got back into these Rockman hacks. If I were to vote I go for Kuja Killer as Best ROM-Hacker because Kuja is more like an artist. I don't get to see his released hack until in the 2010's as he mentioned.
I see some of you voted more than 1 ROM-Hacker, good. I pick all their best choices I have on the list. Not including these outside members I known such as Misty, Rock5easily, and IKA. But that 1 (Or more) person voted for Darhkdaiz. Get over it, he's dead to us now since DD cannot stick with the hobby anymore. |

Posted by CaptainEagle Do not use TLP, it's not really good for NES tilesets. Google search" yy-chr" and download it. It's a good Tileset editor to import Tilesets from other games into your Mega/Rockman 2 rom. I don't know about that "Tile Molester" thingy so I never bother with it. You should know about the chipset editor in Rock2edit, right? It allows to assemble pieces of Tilesets to make your own 16x16 blocks. It also comes with TSA solidity switching. (i.e. BG to Block to Solid 1 to Solid 2) BG and Block are most common. But I have no idea how to change the behavior of TSA Solidity in Megaman 2 so I can't really help on this one unless Visine comes with it. (i.e. Change Water Solid to Spikes Solid) |

DD retired ROM-Hacking. He said that over and over again and he won't be around unless he's motivated to do a project. Right now, DD most likely focus on real life. |

Posted by CaptainEagle Visine is a better choice for editing Title screens, Skull Castles, Intros, Statistics, Scrolls (That Rock2edit cannot), Weaknesses, etc. All of those including levels are done with Visine. Keep in mind that Visine is a DOS program unless you use DOSBox if you're using Vista or Windows XP. |

I was hoping you use the classic Mega man 1 tilesets but oh, well. It's better than nothing. |

Make that a simplar boulder attack simliar to Megaman the Power fighters that act like MM4's Dust Crusher. But punching the boulders is also a good idea too. |

I'm not saying that Darhkdaiz is a bad ROM-Hacker. And even with his Mario Adventure 1 hack (which can be downloaded at Zophars) that newbies played over the years, time is changing getting quickly. There's a good chance that DD may be still in the running because of his Mario Adventure 1 hack.
In the next few years, Kuja Killer might end up being one of the best ROM-Hackers with his "Mega man 3 hack" in the universe. That's a long wait for him to release his ultimate "Mega man 3 hack". |

Exactly KP9000. So far in this board, I have only played infidelity and Panophobia's rom hack. I haven't got interested in "Lazy Shell" because I don't keep in touch with Super Mario RPG Hacking. I have view some SM64 vids and screenshots but haven't interested in them either.
Most of the time, I have played Romhacks who isn't makers of Board 2. Let's just say that someone in this board deserves to be the "Best ROM-Hacker" for this winter mosts. EDIT: Oh, and not including me. I haven't done well this year due to me working with employees costing me time to work on my project and me playing Touhou danmaku games. |

Posted by mickevincent I don't know if the editor called MIDI→ROCKMAN3-6NSFtool consider as a Music Editor for NES/Famicom Rockman 3 to 6 ROMs. Don't know if they work with US or European versions but I have a feeling that in between games do or do not share the same ROM offset. I never tested it yet due to fact that I may come home late from work so Tomorrow for me might be suitable. Megaman 1, 2 and 4 have their own music Disassembly so editng with the hex editor may be a choice. If you curious about it, the tool can be found here. |

I've been messing around with the JSR Sound routine in MM5 a little while ago. Not if only that, but the boss theme music for Protoman castle 4 is really difficult to find unless I logged the code myself.
I think another LDA that jumps onto another address is used but don't remember. |

Bumping into my thread is one thing but I don't think this shit is worth interesting to me anymore to discuss.
ShrineMaiden forums discussed Touhoumon the most so I want this thread closed and trash. |

Still into YI hacking eh. |

Megaman 4 is always one of my favorite games. I hope to keep this project going. Good work.
I would like to contribute for a little bit for your project if you want my help. I'm currently creating a conversion fast-scrolling Japanese patch from Rock5easily onto the USA version of Megaman 4. There only 64 different byte areas. I'm going to test the fast-scrolling before giving the patch. But just in case something went wrong, you should back up your project. |

I'm suprised that people still voted for Dahrkdaiz and came in 2nd. Well played.
People are starting into this SMRPG Editor and I have no interest in hacking SMRPG in the future. There's always next 6 months whether another ROM-Hacker decides to take the #1 spot. |

Holy Shit.
You uploaded a bunch of SMB1 Hacks. I hope one of them are TAS-Free. The IPS patches are quite easy to find if you have glasses. Just click on "HappyLee’s Super Mario Hacks" under Folder list. And you will see a bunch of released SMB1 hacks. There are 22 of them. Good luck playing them all. And I haven't touch SMB1-hacks in a LONG TIME since Darkdata's last SMB1 hack. I would add more of them on my site (With Permission) but I'm saving some space for some Rockman or Megaman hacks on sight. |

You should make the ROM Patch for it. I'll proberly include the conversion of the Japanese version of Rockman 4 if you can't convert it yourself. |

Version 0.98 seems fine.
And I don't run Japanese .exe programs and there's a goddamn chance that my computer will catch a virus. |
