Well, seems Hottest Party's site is up. Nothing else about the gameplay and songlist are there, but its up.

Also, image scan.

I'm still a bit iffy about the whole Wii control thing.

Ultimix is going to take for fucking ever to get downloaded...
Uh, yeah, I only got part 1 done. Can't download part 2 due to MegaUpload being a pain in the ass and only allowing a certain limit reached without telling you to wait. I downloaded it this morning, can't resume the second part until 10 o'clock tonight.

But from what I've played, its varied. I think that is what makes the pack unique, really. Just a lot of different music styles with unique steps per person.

Some could use some more work though. =\

So, Islands of Adventure.

I did a little ITG2 there. First round I did a Mungyodance 2 song as well as my own Innocent and VANESSA sim (failed VANESSA, but my legs were already killing me).

I went to go do it again later, but somehow my USB was corrupted. Wouldn't even save screenshots.

So... I did something different. After I did other songs I've done before, I attempted Infection EX. PASS! First 11 I passed. I then did Hybrid EX (done already, but eh), and after that... decided to be more edgy. Did Utopia EX. Pass. Then (still in same credit) Robotix EX. Pass. I comboed the entire speed-up with only one Great. Then I did Energizer HD and passed.

Interesting what a few months of PIU without touching 4-panel in that time can do.

Percentages were about...
Infection: 68%
Utopia: 70%
Robotix: 80%

Can't remember since it DIDN'T SAVE SCREENSHOTS

Ok... any information on it I can look at or am I to just assume this is another Soul Calibur?

If this is similar to SCIII, I am going to be a bit hesitant. It was alright, and the character creation mode was truly cool. However... the gameplay was just ugh at times.

If it keeps the character creation I'll still like that. It was neat to mess around with.

There isn't enough dancing in this Dancing Games thread.
Here's some dancing.

And bar helps me in the arcade, especially with bad pads. =\

Same. I would've tried it by now (and probably failed my ass off doing it).
Always first stage, 100% chance of reaching the end of the song (unless you get a 51 miss combo). Also, yes, you are going to suck at it (as even I started sucking at DDR and still had to start learning for PIU after a year of DDR), but give it about... two months maybe and you'll be passing CZs in no time if you want to go for speed. Then you have to progress to NMs if you want more speed. =\

Its different, is all. Fun once you get into it though.

<-- IT'S A TRAP! Your tongues can't repel flavor of that magnitude!
Now I know where "It's A Trap!" comes from.

Yes, I seriously didn't know that.

Also, if I am my avatar.... uh, then nothing changed for me.

I was at the Magic Kingdom today. Played a very very tiny bit of PIU. The speakers were shot to where only I could hear the music and the screen had graphical glitches...

...but I got a certificate for impressing people. Quite hilarious. Still passed Canon-D Full CZ under those conditions with 40 someodd misses (couldn't see as the screen was stretched).

For those who don't know, virt is composing the music.
No freaking way! That's awesome.

I never really got into Contra. Played a bit via emulation but it wasn't something I'd play many many times. I may get this when it is out, but there are many other games that have priority over this such as PPL and Pokemon Battle Revolution. Even if I decide not to get those games, I dunno about getting this one. =\

Don't feel bad with those scores. It takes time to improve and such. Also, IIRC, that song is slow, so 2x is still slow for some. I do 3x for anything up to about... uh, 210 BPM. It varies with everyone so... yeah.

I'm just wondering if classical music (like Revenge of the Ghost styled songs) would work in SM. Like, game music.

I also don't know how to make SM realise when a song ends.
1. Classical remixes depend on the remix. Sometimes they work, other times not. Its all a matter if you can make the steps right. Game music works too depending on the song. Hell, I did End of the World from Kingdom Hearts! 39 BPM of slow... which needs redoing I think...

2. SM will stop the song once all the notes are done, even if there is more to the song. Only way it will continue going is if the song is done and you still have notes.

(cpubasic: Have you never seen Star Wars: Return of the Jedi? That was Ackbar's defining line in that movie, right when the imperial fleet appears and the Death Star starts shooting stuff.)
I've seen it, I just never thought that was the original "It's a trap!" came from. It just never occured to me, really.

Bumped because it can be bumped.

I've had an interesting week this week. I left Sunday to go over to my relative's house (still here, by the way). I did nothing then. Monday we left to Islands of Adventure. It was interesting since we got in an hour before the park opened because my aunt and cousing have annual passes and since they could get in early, we got in early for being part of their party. Nice, I guess.

Tuesday I saw 1408 in theatres. It was an alright movie, but I'm not really a movie fanatic, so... yeah. Then after the movie, we headed back here and played games until we left to see the Blue Man Group at Universal. It was... definitely interesting to see.

Wednesday we went to a science center. Kind of boring, really. Thursday I went to see Transformers. Kind of long, really.

Friday went to Disney. Magic Kingdom, MGM, and Epcot. Mostly Magic Kingdom though. I had fun there, I guess. Was really tired though, even if I stayed up until 1 AM last night.

Going to be home tomorrow night and my cousin will be staying for a week as well, therefore I will be online and on IRC, but not a majority of the time like usual until he leaves.

So yeah. Figured I should post it here than make a thread of it. Dunno why. Maybe to keep conversation going here.

Can't download it at the moment since I'm over somewhere else, but when I get back I am going to get it. I need to put it on my desktop anyway. =\

Dude, first look at the post date. This is over a month old thread. It'd be fine if it had more content and was reasonable, but it didn't.
Keep an eye out on dates. You don't want to post in a very outdated thread without valid reasoning just because you want to contribute to something (especially in fish where these threads that get buried aren't meant to be brought back up).

Also, watch the spam a bit. Its kind of spammy the way you are posting. Might want to be a bit more careful with it.
Sure, you can have fun here, but if you are doing nothing but doing this, it turns from fun to stupid. Nobody really likes stupid.

Closing thread for being outdated.
*Welds thread shut*

Jesus; all it is is just some music?
To hell with the music. I want characters, items, or stages.
This is one of the few games that is not a music game really make the music another great feature. I like that they include music in their updates because it is just as important as the rest of the game. A great game can be ruined if the music is really, really bad, so the fact they are concerned at making a superb soundtrack is great.

I'm expecting the OST to actually be for sale in the US for this game. If not...

Alright, thread is getting closed.

flamehacker leo: Take a look at the old story archives (Incarnation 1, Incarnation 2, and Incarnation 3) and look at the posting style there. Its a lot more thought out with many of the posts. Learn to go with it before starting another thread here.

Everyone else (pointing mostly at theclaw, sirhaxor, and Mudkip), you know the rules about not posting in threads like these.

Closes before more trouble can be caused.
