	Happened to me once when I had a failing hard disk. The SATA controller just completely shut itself down for some reason. Your problem might not be related to a failing hard disk, though. Probably could be heat related, but also buggy drivers, firmware, other hardware could easily cause such problems. 	I don't really know what a "homebrew add-on" is. I suppose if he meant some addon to enable homebrew then I suppose it would. If it was some kind of extra addon hardware device, then maybe not. 	Blue original DS, which I sold. White DS Lite, which just got worn out. Still works as long as you don't need the L button, want to use headphones to hear anything and like a scratched up screen. Not really scratched deep, just lots of really light scratches from being used. Pink DS Lite.
