It's also good for someone that never played FFIV before (like me).

So if you haven't played it, wanted to play it, and own the system this remake will be released for, how come you didn't pick up the GBA remake, which also can be played on this system, when it was released not too long ago?

It's not really going to introduce FF4 to a new market, since the previous edition of the game is readily available and can be played on the exact same system.

Wait, there's more than one variant of cheesecake?
All the cakes I've eaten have had jello on top and tasted like... you know... uh... cheesecake. What are these other things like?

Nah, that blog is just some guy talking about how he has to study for an upcoming exam rather than going to a party.

I did, however, locate this random site, where I found the following quote: "Inte fan skulle jag tveka på att plugga henne? Hon må vara "risig" och fattig, men hon har ändå en sorts utstrålning, ser ganska "bra" ut, och besitter en rejäl hylla.
Kondom skulle ju dock vara en självklarhet."

Seems like "plugga" is some sort of bizarre and extremely uncommon slang for either "fuck" or "score". I've never heard it before, and I've read my share of Rocky comic strips in Swedish, where I'd assume it'd put up once in a while if it was as common as this guy makes you think.

Here's hoping for Ridley, Midna, Samurai Goroh, Little Mac and Mega Man. Come on, people.

Sure, all the time, when I'm in the lead. Given that most of the people I play against do the same when they're in the lead, and we're all usually around the same level (I still own everyone in Goldeneye, though, while I constantly end up getting crushed in Wiisports Bowling), it's pretty much expected behavior anyway. Makes the games more fun.

Plus, that was perfectly translatable, so there would be no reason to leave the text in Swedish.

Think, then post. Not the other way around, or only the latter part.

Right.

Yeah, I should buy this game, you know

The second game was such a huge disappointment

So even after discovering the first game was such a shitheap, you still held the hope the the sequel would be worth playing? Optimist till the end, eh?

Ah yes, I predict this game, if ever released, will suck ass, being that it's a Golden Sun game, and that's what Golden Sun games do.

Still, one has to wonder, what other characters will be in brawl? (Besides the we want sonic fanclub)

Ridley has had massive fan support towards his inclusion, Midna so to a lesser degree. They're both very likely candidates.

Wow, so everyone liked those things apart from me, eh? I've certainly seen enough criticism of them elsewhere, but...

Why I don't like them? Well, let's see.
*Plot is dull and rarely goes anywhere, instead choosing to diverge into a set of mini-quests that have nothing to do which each other or the plot as a whole.
*Too god damn much talking about pointless crap. Conversations can last about ten minutes even if you're hammering the A button to get them over with (and then you get thrown into a boss fight before getting the option to save, so if you die, you have to go through all that babbling again.
*The magic system is dull, magic rarely deals much more damage than regular attacks, and all enemies are extremely easy anyway.
*Challenge is non-existant, with the sole exception of the final boss in Lost Age, who opts to be cheap as hell instead. Enemies are extremely unmemorable, acting as random fodder you don't care about at all.
*The djinn-class system would've been a tad more inteesting if you didn't get the best results from putting all djinni of a certain element on the corresponding player.
*8 playable characters, but the only difference between the two different adepts of an element is which djinni they have equipped.
*While on the subject of djinni, that's all that really matters in the game. Djinni that up your stats (or throw up a shield or whatever) or reduce opponents stats (or screw up their battle prowess in some other manner) are to be spammed at a regular basis against bosses, before summons are made to deal major damage. Few bosses are able to live through a barrage of summons powered by all the djinni available at the time, and if they do.. well, djinni become reset not too long after being used, so you'll be able to summon more death and destruction quickly enough.

So DP is just as stingy on the evolution stones as GSC was, eh? God, I hated that.
But couldn't you just buy a Thunderstone in FR/LG, attach it to a pokemon, and transfer it to DP? Or, uh, just transfer a Raichu for that matter.

Hm, could be an idea to make a wiki page for them, though. Would be simpler to add a new code and wouldn't clutter up a thread. Some simple monitoring of the history page would keep people from fucking with other's codes too (and that's a danger with everything wiki anyway).

Gosh diddly dang!

Still, are you?

Meh, I'll hold off on the weapons until someone adds a staff. I'm a magician, dammit, we use shitty weapons.
Oh, and you need a Valkyrie robe as well.

Also, what's the recommended level for facing the Elite Four? IGN says at least 55, my friend who is a pro at the game says 45 (but he is a pro)

Never ever listen to guides when they recommend levels. Either they operate by "this is what I happened to use, so it's the best" or the "if you level to whatever insanely high number I put here, it's not possible to lose no matter what" systems, neither of which are really worth paying too much attention to.
If the guide was written shortly after the release of the game, obviously the writers haven't had enough time to put much thought into what they recommend anyway.

Remember guys:

"Be safe and sane when playing with fireworks." Don't pull a fox McCloud or you end up losing more than just your fingers.

Looks like Mario is more at risk there, though, it's his ass Fox it about to shoot his carckers at.

The show just made it's way to Norway, actually, episode 2 is airing later tonight.
I checked out episode 1, and while it didn't seem terribly interesting so far, it has gotten good reviews, so I'll give it another chance, watch a couple more episodes, and see if it gets better.

Given that you Americans have actually watched the thing, you can probably tell me if that's the case, though.

Besides, we can't really do anything with our items yet, so there's not much point in equipping. Only saving.
