I'm just wondering how many souls the button has collected over 6 or so years....

Jeff Buckley -- Hallelujah from the 1998 album Grace

I am aware the song is a cover, but it is one of the best versions, if not the best version of Hallelujah I've ever heard. Jeff's voice is beautiful over very simple acoustic guitar backup.

I was never one of those people that was a raving Jeff Buckley fangirl, but I will admit his voice is gorgeous, and Hallelujah in particular is beautiful.

I am not all that sure I want to see layouts come back.

I like layouts, but I think what I would rather see is some nicer CSS implementation to neaten up the current "plain" posts, quotes, etc, across the board.

I think I'd rather see a neat, uniform, well-designed board than many layouts, some good, some horrible...

I have ADD symptoms, but I do not have ADD. Many of the symptoms of ADD can be caused by other conditions, such as mood disorders, illnesses, stress, etc as well so the problem might not be ADD.

For instance, Depression can cause many ADD symptoms (which in turn can then exacerbate Depression). I am on a medication used for ADD and Depression to treat my particular Atypical Depression, after the doctor identified some of my ADD tendencies and the link between my inability to concentrate with my mood / self esteem.

I had ADD tendencies in High School simply because I was stressed out and upset by events that occurred at the time.

I had really bad ADD tendences following surgery because the anaesthetic messes my head up really bad.

You could get yourself checked out by a psychologist if you like.

And I'd like to see multiple board layouts, too

But yes, I would really love to see the board as a whole look gorgeous, not just a handful of users' posts.

I'd start with some padding on the inside of these text boxes! My text is all squishied against the borders!

And some nice visual seperation with quotes....

As far as I am aware, both sides of my family hail from Cornwall. But a long time ago. I think it's fairly safe to just call myself Australian.

I like the original best so far. I tried tweaking some CSS using CSSEdit but kept having issues so will need to try again at some point

EDIT:
Fucking about with CSS (1)
Fucking about with CSS (2)
Fucking about with CSS (3)

Needs a lot of work still. Have done no work re: background pictures (any included will be very, very subtle) or Staff Colours, or many other things.

I started taking the test, then I decided I didn't care. Another test I took recently indicated that my politics are "socialist", which is pretty broad

I also don't think it's Krahulik's work. It's not his style.

Also.... a little scary.

Very large picture even on a fast connection too... could have warned us

I think the movie rating system on the whole is rediculous. Are they not aware of the rediculousness of society of these days?

Also, there's no taking into account how some kids are more mature than others. How are they supposed to get into a R movie if they're underage? Silly.

I agree that ratings are ridiculous, particularly in the US. I am not sure how the Australian system works.

A film that is worth checking out is This Film Is Not Yet Rated.

The American rating system is quite bizarre, I wonder sometimes what system is in place in Australia

I like speeding up tracks too, but I won't claim that it makes them sound "cool".

More that it just makes me giggle.

I love Shaun of the Dead.

Saw a review last night for Hot Fuzz and very much looking forward to that too.

Other than that, I find most horror movies to be quite silly. Evil Dead II and Evil Dead III: The Army of Darkness were very, very silly.

Pandora Internet Radio

Just curious, who else uses Pandora to listen to music / find new artists you might like?

I'm currently listening to it while I do a little tidying up around my house / drink a Beez Neez beer, and I'm finding it quite interesting. Course, this isn't the first time I've listened to it, but I thought I'd post here about it too this time.

Who here uses it? Have you found other stuff you like through it?

Song: "Only" from the album "With Teeth" by Nine Inch Nails -- with a twist. I'm only listening to Trent Reznor's vocals.

It sounds funny with out the other 13 tracks that make up the song.

GarageBand FTW!

Nope, never heard of it. Does it have any European pop and dance music? Most Internet radio is way too rock-oriented for me.

Well, as you put in the name of a song or artist you like, and it picks songs to play to you that are similar, sure I would guess so

What about naming your children after fruit? Like... say..... "Apple"

Or things like Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily.

Or is this Celebrity's way of saying to their kids "Hey... you're gonna get everything you want in your life. But just in case you never get anything to complain about, I'm going to call you "Tallulah Belle"."

Derek and I

This is Derek ("postal") and I. This is not really a great photo, but then I am pulling the "ahhh, evil camera" face.

He is very sweet and he makes me very happy. He has also been putting up with a lot of ranting and such from me about work lately. But it's nice that he's been willing to put up with that shit.

I hope the link works. I cannot check as my site is blocked by work's filter.
