Here's your snowman. But of course the whole picture doesn't make sense anymore. Why would you put benches on the walls?

By the way, I did never notice it was a snowman . But this secret didn't last long.

What in the world? Walls? This is a snowy forest!

I was talking more generally. Just meant that vertical benches don't make sense. Mostly because people don't sit down vertically

Also, zbyte, you have a nice background picture for his layout, too bad it is badly positioned and people only see a small part of it... that's surely not hard to fix! Unless it's being done on purpose.

Well, according to some well-known early NSMB DS videos, NSMB DS was going to have a "coop" mode that was more of a race than a coop. Nintendo implemented it in NSMB Wii, but more like a coop.

By the way, I still wonder what happens to the other players in NSMB Wii when one reaches the flagpole...

It's snowing again today. But right now it's turning into rain.
However the snow we're getting (or just got) is not as powdery as it was the previous days.

The third incarnation FAQ says:

Posted by the FAQ writer
How do I add my stats to my posts?

In a way similar to HTML and the markup replacements (described above), just put those where you want the numbers to be:

TagValue
&numposts& Current post count
&numdays& Number of days since registration
&level& Level
&exp& EXP
&expdone& EXP done in the current level
&expdone1k& EXP done / 1000
&expdone10k& EXP done / 10000
&expnext& Amount of EXP left for next level
&expnext1k& EXP needed / 1000
&expnext10k& EXP needed / 10000
&exppct& Percentage of EXP done in the level
&exppct2& Percentage of EXP left in the level
&expgain& EXP gain per post
&expgaintime&Seconds for 1 EXP when idle
&lvlexp& Total EXP amount needed for next level
&lvllen& EXP needed to go through the current level
&5000& Posts left until you have 5000
&20000& Posts left until you have 20000
&rank& Current rank, according to your amount of posts
&postrank& Post ranking
&postrank10k&Post ranking you'd have with 10000 less posts
&postrank20k&Post ranking you'd have with 20000 less posts
&date& Current date

Those don't seem to work here.
So is there a way to add your postcount/exp/whatever to your layout?

The other players have a limited time to get to the flag pole, if they don't get there in time, the level clear cinematic goes on without them.

But I assume that, if they don't reach the flagpole in time, they don't die, do they?

It's also worth mentioning that NSMBWii has a very competitive coin battle mode.

Coin battle? Reminds me of Mario Kart Wii. Sounds cool also

We didn't get much sun. It snowed for long, and during all that time the sky was all white/light gray, no sun.

The snow + sun combination can be very radiant and a sufficient reason to wear sunglasses.

Yeah, but 3% of web users and me still are with 800x600

After all, why are you still using a 800x600 monitor? Those were used like 10 years ago. Is it just that you can't buy a new monitor due to financial reasons?

To consider: The version of Wordpad provided with Windows 7 finally looks decent.
Though, I love how it tries to look like Word, but doesn't split pages like Word does.

The version of MS Paint provided with Windows 7 finally looks decent too. And it's finally able to draw text when using zoom. But it is clearly not Photoshop.

Also, Windows Mail (aka Outlook Express) isn't provided with Windows 7, and Microsoft will likely never provide it anymore with Windows.

HD Tune is a HDD testing utility which can benchmark your HDD and find eventual problems or broken sectors. But it can't repair those problems.
IcoFX is a nice and free icon editor. It can convert images to icons, and edit various formats of icons, namely, Vista icons and Macintosh icons.

Spoiler:
NAZIWAD can be decomposed in two distinct words: NAZI WAD
Pay attention to the WADs you run on your Wii!

No, it's that I like looking at big images, and they look considerable smaller in a higher resolution. If there was plugin that made Firefox images 1.28 times bigger I would put it on and switch to 1024x768 without problems (but what would be the point anyway?)

That's right. If you're in a higher resolution, images will be smaller propoptionally to your monitor. Now, if your new monitor has its pixels sized exactly like the old one, the images are actually the exact same size as before. It's just that you see more stuff around those images.

Offtopic: your layout just spoiled my spoiler by giving it CSS transparency and white font color, and thus making it plain visible

If you can see the spoiler's text without having to highlight it, there's something wrong
May be specific to Firefox 3.5, I don't know.

Back on topic now.

I think the extra space around Teyla makes the layout look better. It doesn't disturb me because I have a widescreen. But maybe you could make it automatically adjust depending on the resolution?

Also, 300px is still almost 38% of the screen space for people with 800x600 monitors.
