Ha, Volt Tackle. So it's like PK Thunder, just much more powerful.

You won't see many companies willing to sell/publish games/movies/books that are given AO titles. Wal-mart certainly wouldn't carry it, and I have my doubts about EB Games carrying it.

Out right banning it seems silly, but Nintendo certainly doesn't have to approve the game or license it. It is a private company after all.

So wait, people are complaining about being limited in choice by Nintendo/Sony who is using their choice/right to not license games they find "too much"?

Please, both of you, be quiet. You are misrepresenting this. As one could plainly see, they are talking about addiction. The people they profile show signs of addiction. The fact of the matter is, people can be addicted to videogames, many people are addicted to videogames, and if you think otherwise, you're just naive. Just because you don't have all that many negative repercussions as a result of your videogaming (or don't realize that you do) doesn't mean no one can. There are people that periodically drink alcohol, and drink responsibly. There are people whose lives are utterly ruined by alcohol. The same is true of any addictive substance, and videogames are no different. All addiction is a psychological illness. So don't go saying this is stupid when they are so obviously right. About damn time, I say.

The difference between alcohol and video games of course being that if you drink an extreme amount of alcohol due to addiction you could actually die from simply stopping or trying to solve the problem yourself.

Though of course I agree that it is possible to get addicted to games and well, any rewarding activity because this is something we already know.

I would like to quote the article though.

Dr. Michael Brody, head of a TV and media committee at the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, agreed. He praised the AMA council for bringing attention to the problem, but said excessive video-game playing could be a symptom for other things, such as depression or social anxieties that already have their own diagnoses.

“You could make lots of behavioral things into addictions. Why stop at video gaming?” Brody asked. Why not Blackberries, cell phones, or other irritating habits, he said.

So far I'm actually not enjoying the console that much for non-party gaming.

Great when you got friends, but the only game I enjoyed for it was Sonic and the Secret Rings, Zelda was a let down. =/

I can't wait for Metroid Prime 3 though.

That's probably because the kids kept getting into things without the T.V. there to distract them.

Badumpbump Sonic Heeeeeeeeeroooooooooooooooooes!

That was enough for me to hate the game.

The actual game just made it worse.

If they go with some sort of platformer/RPG it could be decent. Maybe even go with Valkyrie Profile 2 like gameplay or something.

Weren't people thinking that the castle was a Fire Emblem level? It sounds fairly reasonable to me. Castles in Zelda are usually more... Pretty than that.

A castle level in the trailer has a flag from one of the Fire Emblem armies.

Oh hay guys, let's use common sense and put something that should be in any fighting game then forget it when we tell people how to enter names!

Snaking is in F-Zero.

I never got real big in Mario Karts, but it's done the same iirc.

Might have to pick it up and play against you Alastor.

Have fun losing.
Shadic is right. I can't possibly say this without sounding incredibly arrogant, but I have defeated several people who were at the time the world champion.

I don't actually think I'll win. I doubt I'll even come close unless I get like a month of hardcore playing in.

I can play Mary's Little Lamb on the flute.

When I was like 6. It was my sister's flute.

I feel I've mastered music.
