Bill Gates is God? Disbelief!

Nope.

IE is so crappy that not even Bill Gates knows what it can do.

Why are some people saying Board2 isn't very active?

Posted by Kawa
If Mega-Mario continues posting like that, how many posts will him have in three months?
No more than 140, perhaps 150 if the admins aren't lazy. Because he's walking on thin ice.

Just reached 140 posts, does Kawa have a differet perception of time?

Does it still need to be shrunk again?

Yeah, you may want to check Trelior's layout if you haven't done so yet, he also has a mushroom on it, and it seems about the right size a big mushroom should be.

If you are worried about your layout not filling enough post space and being left a blank space under it, just make the mushroom 100x200, keep its aspect ratio and add two transparent rectangles above and below it. Or you can add 1 or 2 different mushrooms to it, on vertical position.

Um... I don't know if it's the case for you, but for me Trelior's shroom is really bigger than mine.

And the mushroom is still too big. I thought about an image with two or three 100x100 shrooms on it:

Okay, it's a bit inspired from your layout...

My mushroom is 256x256 but is put in place with a width="60%"

Firefox seems to completely ignore that attribute.

What version are you using? Firefox 3.5 for me.

Also, 60% of 256px is approximately 153px. Here's a new mushroom, resized to 150px. How is it?

Now it's even worse - shroom still high-size, and it has huge margins at its sides. (note: my screen resolution is 1920x1080, the huge margins are less huge at a smaller resolution)

Weird.

May I recommend you just resize that mushroom manually in Photoshop or even MSPaint?

Version 3.5.5.

That's a weird issue... why is it different for me whereas we're using the exact same browsers?

I think I know what's happening: your screen resolution is "too small".

The mushroom shrinks as I shrink the Firefox window.

What's your screen resolution?

The mushroom shrinks as I shrink the Firefox window.

Here's a reason for that: It is set at a relative value of sixty percent of the width! Why do I have to keep saying that?

My apologies.

The three-mushroom era just began!

Also, I don't know if the "width:60%;" is a good idea for this one layout... I thought I could rather make the mushrooms scale depending on the post's height, but they may end up huge on big posts...

Also, why does the image's title contain a <z>? Is it another bug in Board2, or is it just that the title is too long?

Maybe the board just doesn't like image titles that are too long.

Just let the cursor over the three mushrooms in my layout.
You'll see:

Without those, Mario can't even survive o<z>ne day.

Here's the title as I entered it in my layout:

Without those, Mario can't even survive one day.

What's that? It's the weirdest bug I've come accross

Here's a quick test...

The board actually seems to put a <z> at the middle of the word "one". Why is it doing that?

Yeah, I think it'd be better for layout development if we could see more elements in the post preview. If people don't have layouts, they could toggle it or something in the Edit Profile if there's really that many complaints.

Here's what I suggest:

Yeah, that could be nice.

I'd suggest putting funnier names for those quotes, but it isn't that important... it's just that how can that be quoted if it was posted by nobody?

By the way, there are also some other tags that could be previewed as well, [sopiler], [math] and [svg].

Sure.

I do know that you can steal passwords by putting JavaScript into the url of an image, but I hardly see how "one" can be an XSS or whatever injection. Especially when it's not in the url, but in the title...

Another test to confirm that:

Only happens when "one" is a separate word.

Doesn't happen when "one" is alone.

Only happens when "one" has a space before it.

Actually happens for any word beginning by "one".

It's not "one", it's "on" that is filtered, regardless of where it appears. "One", "Onett", "Marionette", etc would all cause the to be inserted. I think it also has to been inside an html tag, and there may be other rules to the preg_replace() that I don't know about.

Actually, not exactly. It doesn't get replaced if "on" isn't preceded by a space.

Testing again:
