I used to swear I'd never use webmail and forwarded everything to my web browser...

But now I just use webmail and never set up my accounts in a mail browser... Not that I check my email unless I'm expecting something anyway.

E-mail is the new snail-mail. =P If you wanna tell me something, send me a text message. It's faster and more likely to get my attention.

You guys actually have surprised me. Most people apparently can't spell "Kasdarack" even when they're LOOKING AT IT!

Nice to not have to deal with idiots here.

As far as nicknames go... it really depends on the situation. My RL friends will occasionally call eachother by screen name in person... we ALWAYS call my friend Tim "Tricky." I know a few people who call me Kas more often than they call me Jon.

As far as me addressing someone online? It depends on how well I know them, I guess. Probably a bit of what I'm used to as well.

Around here I call Xk "Xk" because that's what I'm used to, even though I don't know him very well. I call Danielle "Dani" because she's my friend and it's cool to have a nickname for her. I usually refer to Tarale as Taryn because I really like that name and she doesn't seem to mind.
On the board I'd probably refer to Tommathy by said screen name so everyone would know who I'm talking about, but I call him Tommy when chatting with him.

*shrugs* Like I said, it all depends on the situation.

Scottish all the way on my father's side.
English and German on mom's.

Nationality? American.

I can trace my line on Mom's side (English) back to like the 1400's, but on my Dad's side I lose the thread from before my great grandfather (who was apparently a bit of a scoundrel) came to Louisiana and became among other things a traveling musician on the riverboats. So when buying a kilt or whatnot I just go with Stewart of Appin tartan because it's more attractive than Royal Stewart. I dunno if I can really claim it. But historically, people wore what they could get and the colors didn't mean anything anyway.

You need to buy yourself a kilt, Vyp. All the girls agree that they're completely sexy.
What clan is your surname associated with?

Hadn't been bitten by a horsefly, but it's been close. xDDD They're really slow, so you can usually catch them before they bite...

Unless they swarm you. But yeah, they're slow. You can usually pick them off of a horse if you have one.
They'll fly around for a while after you knock their heads off, too.

I have pock scars all over my arms from mosquito bites that I scratched too much as a kid. That's what happens when you live in mosquito heaven and are somewhat allergic to bites and stings.

Slapping roms onto a SD card... there's a reason Nintendo has DRM on the roms.

...which is lame considering how old most of the games are.

I still have my wisdom teeth. I had four molars removed instead to make room for them to come in. I still didn't really have room for them to come in

I don't have my wisdom teeth yet, but I will probably have problems with them because of braces...

Yeah. Even though I had molars removed when I got braces I still didn't have quite enough room on the bottom and they bunched my front teeth a bit when they came in. They also give me headaches =(

It really wouldn't be worth the effort of prosecuting them for a pack of Magic cards. So I imagine nothing was done, right?

Um... Question:

Why are you fucked?
What's the big fucking deal? You skipped school. They can't suspend/expel/do shit to you about that if you aren't over the legal limit for absences.

As long as your parents don't care then who gives a shit?

I ditched first hour 72 times my senior year in high school. It wasn't a state required credit and I'd have rather had breakfast. I went to my other classes so no one cared.

My name is Jon Stewart. Yeah, like the guy from the Daily Show. My birthday is 7/21. Yeah, like the Daily Show. I've heard it before. Shut up.

My middle name has been permanently stricken from the record in certain circles because I don't think it fits my personality and don't allow it to be uttered. It's not bad or embarrassing or anything, it's just not me. And it makes me a junior which I think is totally lame as a naming practice.

As a replacement, the Rebekahs/Rebeccas (I know many of them) have allowed me to take Rebekah as a middle name. This is a long standing joke and an honor I won't forget even though I don't see many of them anymore.

Keep in mind this is just out opinion; you may disagree.

KERNAL AND KATELYN'S RULES OF BABY NAMING

1. Do NOT name your child after a city, state, country, or geographical region unless it is also an established first name.
Examples
City: Madison, Paris, London, Timbuktu, Oklahoma City

I have to object.
Madison is quite established as a name. It was a surname before the city was founded. It's a common girl's first name as well. And the derivative "Maddie" is a cute name.

To me... "partner" just seems kinda... impersonal? Unaffectionate? I prefer girlfriend.

I just got done talking to my ex girlfriend (she went to bed.) We talk almost every day... so needless to say we're still friends, though it was really rough after the breakup. We're both fairly amazed that we're still so close after everything we've gone through.

Maybe one day I'll meet someone I love as much as I love her. I hope so. But for now, my only partners are my minidisc player and headphones and the teddy bear she gave me to keep me company at night.

It's nice not having to worry about the responsibility of having a girlfriend... but it gets lonely. I'm at a point in my life where I'm thinking about settling down for good. I always thought I'd have a career and a family by now.

Meh, I'm straying way off topic. Sorry.
