Because of what I said in my first post on this thread.

Their old algorithm of related videos was perfect! You could actually keep clicking blind the top related video and watch great stuff for hours, their new one tends to put very popular videos at the top, even if they suck or are not that related to what you are watching (and let's not even start with their featured videos, those suck about 8 out of 10 times [AND let's not even mention their promoted videos that also appear on the list, those are like watching ads in TV...])

As mentioned by 'Kev, that space wasn't used by anything at all before, but still, I have some unused space on the top part of the browser, that doesn't mean I'll go and install spyware so it is used for something. That's how the new Google feels like to me, specially when most of that functionality was provided before, just optional.

I have resorted to setting the language to Pirate to solve the problem, what about you? Do you consider it a problem? Are you the first person I've met that actually likes the change?
