This game looked great, I downloaded it, started it up and decided to try adventure mode, then I saw there was no magic and quit.  That was exactly what happened, I booted up character creation, saw no magic skill and said "I can't have a mage! Screw this!" I'll come back to it eventually, but the shock of being unable to play as a mage after expecting to be able to do so takes time to wear off for me. I like Mages too much.____________________ There are things I want to put here. Like a cool picture, my 8-bit theatre character test result, my MS and RO characters... I have missed alot. Okay, all at once.
Ike - Damnit! This lowers the chance for Marth, although the specials are different, so this means he's probable, and definately a much larger chance than Roy. Pit's final smash - Made of awesome. Smokebomb - You know, now that it's there, it has me wondering why it wasn't sooner. Badge - Kickass, Squash Monster said all anyone would need on the subject. Pitfall - Awesome, see smokebomb. Overall, this is looking good, as long as Marth is announced, I'll be happy. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. I am surprised that someone actually made this. I had also pictured this when I thought of virtual reality, and also saw the inherent flaw of jumping, though from the article it seems they've taken that into account, I look forward to seeing applications of this, and more importantly, affordfable ones. But honestly, I see no way that this could become a home thing, it's just too big. I think VR games using this would be limited to arcades, maybe they'll come back after this thing comes into use. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. I am surprised this hasn't made it here yet. Fraxy is a free SHMUP-like game where you can fight various enemies in a "free mode" or also pre-made scenarios, it comes with an editor to create your own enemies, and there's apparently also a way to create your own scenarios("try" in game, the english translation is butchered) though I haven't done this yet. Here you can find various ships, and a single scenario to download, it's a very fun game. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. Wow, that is alot of rain. Why did they put the roads so far below the sidewalks? It's the adrenaline rush, that, and being a general, he's probably a bit better than his troops (going by RPG logic, in life, the general is probably actually weaker, because he gives the orders, and probably get's lazy). I'd be surprised he didn't throw Moore at it, given that's his solution to everything, but that wouldn't have been as funny, although I kinda saw that coming, lessening the funyness. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. I'm going to say it's IE, since opening the thread in IE Tab -> blank picture boxes. The only problem with this I see is that the images are slow, they take longer to scroll than the rest of the page, and lag up the thread. And IE users can't see them, and that population does exist. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. Torrents can be fast, but then they can be horribly slow, when I was trying to download Armored Core 2, it took days because the seeds kept leaving, they were only online for maybe 2 hours of each day, and there weren't that many to begin with. Though honestly, I usually have more trouble finding an active torrent than I do downloading it. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. Posted by Anti-clock Cheating equipment, that I personally have never had break, can inject extra fun into a variety of games. Some examples. A)- Link's awakening, I had a blast with the walkthrough walls code, just screwing around. B)- After beating Majora's Mask - All Masks, had alot of fun messing around with them. C)- After beating MMBN6 - All chips, and messing around with that card thing, it may be cheating, but it's fun as hell to just decimate people.(AI, mind you, I'd never cheat in play with other people) And that card thing(exclusive to the Japanese version) was fun to mess with, I made several styles staying within it's constraints. D)- The Omega Zero code for MMZ3, that thing is awesome. Cheating devices can make games a blast after they normally would have had no fun left in them. I see no problem with messing around after having completed a game. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. Anyway, Bioshock looks like it might be good, if it's better than your average FPS, then I'll probably pick up the PC version at some point, though right now my finances are limited and this is not top priority. As to my PC, I'm pretty sure I can run it, it's only 1 year old. There's sure to be an option to turn down the graphics a bit if needed.____________________ There are things I want to put here. Actually the whole thing of BH not wanting to lead is something I wanted to bring up too, though Xk's first thread dissapeared before I could. I think he wants to let Acmlm run it, which is pretty delusional of him, things would make more sense if he actually stayed long enough to get a word in edgewise. He really shouldn't have brought the board back if he wasn't going to be here to deal with it, did he really expect things such as this to not happen?
What he's doing right now translates to me as : "I want to keep the board alive, but I don't want to run it." Which won't work if this board is to be restarted. Really, it's not working now either, since there's no-one to run it, the staff revision is supposed to fix that, but he doesn't want to be the one to judge it, so that leaves no-one in charge of the community. ____________________ There are things I want to put here.
