5th grade, everyone was required to use the typing program during our computer lab class. Those who finished got to play Troggle Trouble!

Typing was a pain in the ass before then. I used 2 fingers to type a measly 25-40wpm. Now I average 100.


did they make you put those black rubber covers over the keyboard so you couldn't see the keys?

I still remember the cries of agony of my fellow classmates on that day.

Recently when asking someone "what the fuck do you want" she got all bitchy over it because apparently people only cuss when they're angry and there are no exceptions. Fuck is an evil word only said by evil people.

but really whats the big deal with cusswords, they're just words, i don't fucking get it

I used to hate swearing and never did it. Now I do it constantly when I'm alone, less when people are around. A lot on AIM. I type fuck as fsck not to censor it, but because I think it's funny that a Unix command would be called fsck. Boards with overszealous censors drive me up the wall, especially when even damn and hell are censored.


that reminds me of highschool when we learned about "cout" in C++ class.

So I'm a programmer and an artist, but until now I've never made programmer art, which by defenition is art that you draw and continue tweaking without caring that it has massive flaws and looks like shit.

the green armored knight with checkered pants and polkadot swords is the result. 16 colors of great win and slight justice.
