Another popular choice if you're on a slower system is Midori. Which is also free and open source.

1. You should probably look where you're tying, just in case you make some typos or something... though I can't say that I don't stare off in to space on occasion when I'm typing.

2. #00F on #000 should be pretty damn readable. Sure it could be better, but it's not like it's super dark blue on black like mirc has. Personally, I prefer irssi's default colors with my modified terminal palette. It's so easy on the eyes!

Your post doesn't really describe why you picked any of the names you had. The point of this thread is to tell why you selected the names you chose, not that you chose them.

Yeah, I think it's stored encrypted, so that'd be a bit difficult. Also, they seem pretty security-centric around here, so I doubt they'd send you the password in an email in plaintext, but we'll see what people who matter have to say. :p

There really isn't a whole lot you can do. You're not going to get more details out of an image through interpolation. There needs to be more information about the shape of the original object. The best these algorithms can do is guess.

Some algorithms might do better than others based entirely on the different objects; where one works well with one object, it may get a different object entirely wrong.

So basically, do some research, look around, and try different things for different images. It'll never be perfect, but some may look kinda OK, at least for low scale factors like 2x.

It'd be funnier if it was a Nexus One.

EDIT: Well, I'm certainly impressed, but I personally don't see myself using most of that functionality. Would be nice if they could add some NPCs and make it in to an RPG.

Kinda reminiscent of a VHS tape, if it was that high resolution. :p Your method causes a LOT of bleed, and some weird blocky artifacts.

Rather than detecting the vulnerability by user agent anyway, may as well just detect the vulnerability by using it, then setting a flag for that person's session if it's detected.

Can javascript write to cookies? I figure it could just be a value in a cookie. It might not be caught for the first thread view, but any views after that would have the effect.

Most emulators support the FDS images directly... if your emulator doesn't support FDS or a mapper that seems to work in most other emulators, then You should consider a different emulator... not a big deal, they all interface pretty similarly.

Either way, this isn't just a simple change a value job, you'd need some kind of AI to do this automatically. It's a rather manual job.

If the partition is readable by XP, then it is likely that I virus will seek it out and infect it. That's why if you connect a USB stick to some computers, that viruses which are running can make their way over to files on there, too.

I think it'd be a bit better idea to just be a bit careful and install some kind of virus scanner and scan all executables as you download them (Don't really want to recommend a resident scanner, since those are always prone to performance problems that are worse than viruses themselves, sometimes.).

Nothing that'll just be able to detect and work with formats for any game, but there are "generic" tilemap editors that you can use for if you were developing a game yourself.

Do you mean an editor for a SNES tilemap in VRAM? Probably not a whole ton of use for that, if it hasn't been made yet. If it has been made, then it's probably on romhacking.net or google.com. I can't see it being easily applicable to games in a generic way.

Super Mario World didn't store tilemaps in ROM. It stored object lists in ROM. When you played a level, these were then expanded in to tilemaps in RAM. These take up much less data since each object only has pretty much a type, position and maybe a size, depending on what it was, and most of these could cover a large amount of space for just a few bytes, rather than a few bytes for each tile.

I don't know the gritty details, since I don't even know assembly, but that's the extent of my understanding.
