Who cares? Besides, why should you go through all of the trouble to do the hacking, when others have most likely done it for you?

I'm absolutely serious about the Butterfree. I've been looking forward to using it since I heard about the new battle mechanics with move being based on physical or special. Now, all I need to do is get through this game and transfer one up. It's gonna be sweet, especially because some people would only laugh upon seeing a Butterfree. My planned team for the E4:
Torterra - got this already. It's a beast! Mismagius - can I even get it's evolution stone before then? Alakazam - got this already. Doing well, despite being traded. Machamp - no one can go wrong with one of these. Staraptor - an excellent choice, with a fighting move for backup. 
Luxray - token electric type, though it tears through psychic and ghost better. 
But seriously, this generation IS the best ever! I've had more fun with this than I have had with any other generation to date. Dude. Offer up freshly caught junk for whatever you're looking for. Wait about a day or two. You're almost definitely going to get what you want from some Japanese guy, at level 1 if you look for it like that. I got the other two starters and a Pichu at level 1 this way.

Both Colosseum and XD have basically every normal legendary (ie non-event Pokémon) available for capture. Daycare cloning has been proven to be utter BS. Also, I think the glitch that allows Darkrai and Shaymin to be caught has been fixed for the US release. Alright... count me in. But we may need to hammer out some new rules, or actually define a set of who "legendaries or ubers" are. Might I suggest a rudimentary list?
Any of the following one-off Pokémon are disallowed from the tournament. In short, DO NOT USE: Articuno Zapdos Moltres Mewtwo Mew Raikou Entei Suicune Lugia Ho-oh Celebi Regirock Regice Registeel Latias Latios Kyogre Groudon Rayquaza Deoxys Jirachi Uxie Azelf Mespirit Dialga Palkia Heatran Regigigas Giratina Cresselia Manaphy Darkrai Shaymin Arceus These are the basic list of legendary Pokémon available throughout. All others are, for the most part, acceptable, as they are not too overly powerful. I highly suggest those entering this tournament give serious thought to the Pokémon they will use and the movesets, as it can seriously influence the outcome of the battle. A couple other thoughts, a provision that once the tourney starts, no changes may be made to the team you are using, and that you may not duplicate a Pokémon or hold item on the team. I know that these moves are almost impossible to enforce, and I'm not saying they should be set in stone or anything, just trying to uphold some integrity for the tourney itself. ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

NightKev is organizing this whole thing, it's up to him to decide what to do.
I have to agree with Hiryuu about all of it. If you want to have more fun strategizing and planning, you'd do better without all of those ubers in the mix. What strategy is it to have a team of nothing but Pokémon with the highest stats, owning everything by default because nothing can touch it.
