Yep. I like pistachios. Expensive though.

Haven't had them for a while.

I actually liked pistachio, but it has been a very long time since I ate some which is why I can't describe the taste.

Fail because Evangelion fails.

Boo. Evangelion doesn't fail. The movie does though.

I am going to think of pistachios next time I watch that damned movie now.

I forgot what they taste like.
I don't think I liked them though.
Then again, I don't know.
But Pistachios make me think of Penis Noir because everyone is like PINOT NOIR IS GREAT WINE because of that stupid movie.
I feel that way about these odd nuts, except I don't know what media advert caused it.

Evangelion is just generic lolshonen with religious symbols thrown in because the creator thought they'd look cool. Where exactly is the notfail in this?

Religious symbols are lol, and lol is anti-fail.

Hm. That's a very superficial look at Evangelion. Yeah, I guess on the surface it does look like a bunch of giant robots fighting and some religious symbolism thrown in to scare the kiddies. Underneath it's not about giant robots or fighting or religious symbols, but psychology. It deals very heavily with themes of depression, loneliness, abandonment, rejection, etc.

Course, the psychological stuff is a huge turn off for a lot of people, so I don't expect everyone to like it. But I wouldn't say it is "fail", and I wouldn't say it's simply a superficial shounen story.

*cough*

Anyway... pistachios. Pistachios good. I once had a weird turkish ice cream with pistachios... it was stretchy.

Ziff just won this thread, everyone go home. You cannot hope to post anything better than this

Also, everyone fails for not mentioning cashews, the most delicious nut in the history of nuts.

(I don't watch anime but every person with a background in good storytelling tells me that Evangelion does have terribly meaningless religious symbolism)

What psychology? There's no psychology, just lol angst. Any psychological elements are... Really quite stupid. Watching it for that is like watching Gundam WING because you want to learn about politics.

If I wanted to watch a psychological series, I'd watch Paranoia Agent.

Eva was a meh anime that is way over-rated. Give me Gundam G for psychology.

Neo-Mexico. A giant desert sombrero with cacti all over it floating in space? Best colony. Ever. And a completly competent look at hilarious Japanese stereotypes of non-Japanese.

Unless you mistake the word "pistachio" for "psycho".

...

And I never, ever watched Evangelion... But I'm pretty sure that Fullmetal Alchemist is better.

Maybe.

Well FMA is pretty awesome, so odds are you're right.

Pistachios are better than both though.
