That´d require me to buy 2 more games.

Exactly, there's no reason to get a legendary with a good nature unless you need to get it for a team or something...and even then, the GTS lets you request Pokemon of a certain nature. Don't have the suicune you want? Trade it for one you do! It's not that hard and it makes you feel warm and fuzzy knowing you worked hard to get the good team you have. Anyone can hack a Pokemon, but real hard work and yeah okay you get my point ;x

Yes, since not everyone cares about those kinds of stats.

I for one don't really pay much attention to natures and the like when playing through the main game, usualy if I want to make a competitive team I'll go back and work on it later taking in to account natures and the like. I'm sure many people who likewise don't really care would be more than willing to trade away a Bold Suicune, especially if like I said the trade was Suicune for Suicune, or even something more enticing that the other trainer may want. Besides some people may just not even care about Suicune

I know many people who only catch the legendarys for the dex entry and they just sit and rot in their box the rest of the game.

Correct. DStoDS and GBAtoGBA multiplayer is global, except for the e-Reader.

Thank you. Then I'll probably pick up the American Pearl, and then get the european version of whatever the third game in the series will be for transfer purposes once it's released down the line.

though, theres no language lock on names. I've had people on the GTS trade me Pokemon from their Japanese games with the Japanese characters used for Pokemon names.

These people (the developers for D/P) are crazy. Dialga(sp?) is Dragon/Steel!!! That's the ULTIMATE type combo, you're resistant to EVERYTHING!! Now I know why everyone wanted Diamond and not Pearl.

Yea apparently Japanese people are trading really rare pokemon for things like Magikarp and stuff just so they can get the english names in their systems.
I wouldn't do that of course...but I like the idea of Japanese names in mine...

I'm not planning on getting either for quite a while because, even though I like pokemon games, I don't play them often enough to finish the ones I have already. On the other hand, we went to the mall today and my little brother picked up Diamond, so I'll probably get Pearl at some point...

Ghost/Dark, fool... Plus, in ubers, being slow plus weak to ground is not a good place to be, as it means that Groudon doesn't even need a swords dance to kill your ass.

Also, Palkia has better moves than Dialga.

Holy shit. Noctowl gets some really...decent moves in this game, granted he's still mediocre but significantly LESS mediocre than in previous games. Which is good, because I love that little thing

I had a really killed one in Silver. It's going to be hard coming up with a moveset for him now, though. Anyone have any ideas?

I haven't taken Egg Moves and TMs into account, but for level up moves (outside of Sky Attack, which will require a Heart Scale) this seems the best...

So according to serebii (ok, perhaps I could use a better source), having Emerald in the GBA slot will add Gligar to certain routes.
