Shouldn't you give it Focus Blast incase of Dark types?

Focus Blast is a risky move to use because of its low accuracy. That's why I won't teach it.

Madman200: For Waterfall, you'll get it after beating the final gym. Just talk to Jasmine in the north side of the city after you have all 8 badges.

As for the 6th application, you need to talk to one of the girls inside the Eterna City Pokemon Center to get it.

I thought you can only get Waterfall when beating the last gym leader. I always talked to Jasmine, but she only gave it to me when I beat Volkner.

Yes, you need to actually earn the Beacon Badge before you can acquire the Waterfall HM. I remember speaking with her before that, and all she said was you would need Waterfall to get to the Pokémon League. She has to see you have the badge before she will give it to you.

How do you all recommend training a Rhyhorn? It gains experience incredibly slow. I want a Rhyperior but don't want to use a wild Rhydon because I'm pretty sure that if I train the Rhyhorn, it'll be stronger in the end.

I thought that too, but there's a problem.

1. It's physical movepool beyond Explosion is meh.

2. It has an Attack IV of 8.

Uh, ouch.

I think you're just gonna have to make it a trophy, sadly, unless you wanna go through the pain of getting a shiny with decent IVs.

(There are better special sweepers out there than Azelf anyway. Gengar jumps to mind, but everyone and their mother has Gengar counters now

(Though pretty much everything that counters Gengar counters Azelf...))

I must have taken your luck, by the way. I scored myself a Lucky Egg from a Chansey this morning

I was gonna make it an ingamer (after EV training of course) and just have it in my party as a trophy-lv 100-ass kicker. I have a normal one with DAMN GOOD IVs (its lowest is a sp. attack of 20, go figure, but Timid with 28 speed!!!!)

My next quest will be...

with Dragon Dance. This will take months. Thinking about trading a shiny EV trained Tentacruel for one. Too bad the Tentacruel sucks worse than Azelf.

What is this obsession with using shinies in competitive play? Don't be fooled into think it's a good idea by the fact that my Medicham is shiny - that was just me being ridiculously lucky. Actually trying for it going to take a long time and you'll get bored and asd;klfhasd;flkhasdf;lksahdf.

Caterpies appear on Route 204 (South) if you have Fire Red inserted in the GBA slot. In my opinion, it's a lot easier just to migrate one to the game. I migrated a few Caterpies when I was sending the Kanto starters to my Diamond version.

I don't want shinies, really. I mean, yeah, they're nice to have and all, but I'd rather raise an Adamant DDTtar than a shiny one. I just want shinies to piss off the hackers on Gamefaqs. Getting EV trained stuff is a bitch when a hacker comes in with a lv 100 shiny Blaziken with 31 IVs and 255 EVs in every stat.

Pisses me off.
