Got it. I don't play frequently, so I just beat the 5th Leader and have about...Lv30 average, maybe? Current team's best member is a Lv37...tortoise-type, can't remember the name...backed up by Lv32 Starravia and Lv31 Gyarados. Temp. members include a Lv26 (the Pokémon from the Skull Fossil) and Lv24 Quagsire, plus a fresh Lv18 Ponyta. Suggestions?

Your team:
Torterra Lv37
Staravia Lv32
Gyarados Lv31
Skull Fossil Pokemon (?) Lv26
Ponyta Lv18

My suggestions:
Keep Ponyta, fire pokemon are rare and quite useful for the steel gym too .
Get a Shinx/Luxio/Luxray or some other electric pokemon instead of the fossil pokemon.

Skull Fossil Pokemon (?) Lv26
That would be Cranidos.

Anyway, an electric-type is nice to have for the water you need to cross via Surf/Waterfall, but it's not entirely necessary. At least there are several to choose from (Shinx/Pachirisu/Pikachu/likely more) Also, that Ponyta may come in handy for the 7th gym too, so I'd train it up some as soon as possible. It's kind of a pain trying to train a Fire-type without using the Exp. Share when most of the high-level Pokémon you see are Water-types, Ground-types, or Machokes, though.

How can you not have a Pikachu, Alastor? Took me a little while but you'll come across one at the Mansion. Actually I might have two... not sure.

I'd breed you one if Pichu didn't rely on frigging HAPPINESS. Took me forever for those two Eevee evolutions.

I don't *cough* have access to the mansion. Never done a contest.

And I don't want to actually raise things for happiness if I'm not going to use 'em.

Edit: Waaaaaait. I'm thinking of the ribbon syndicate. Graaaaugh. Okay, Pikachu is taken care of.

Lucario/Riolu is at Iron Cave (I think that's the name). Sail there from Canalave City.

I highly doubt he didn't know that. Notice he doesn't need Riolu. That means he's most likely hatched the egg already, but doesn't want to bother with it because it's a happiness evolution during the day, and doesn't have the time/is too lazy to actually evolve his own.

Also, it's Iron Mountain, I believe...

Yes, Pokedex data.

I am *this close* to finishing the Sinnoh dex.

And in this case, as you might expect, a thunderstone is just as good as a raichu.

So DP is just as stingy on the evolution stones as GSC was, eh? God, I hated that.
But couldn't you just buy a Thunderstone in FR/LG, attach it to a pokemon, and transfer it to DP? Or, uh, just transfer a Raichu for that matter.

You can find Thunderstones as well as other evolution stones underground, Adamant. I have found 6 Thunderstones even though you really need only 2 to complete your Pokedex.

I got him a Thunderstone in a bit of random digging. If anyone ever needs a Leaf Stone.. I have a high ratio of finding them..

With a little bit of dedicated underground digging time, evolution stones really should not be too much trouble to obtain. I personally have at least 4 of every stone(Fire, Water, Thunder, Sun, Leaf....) The only exception are Moon stones.

This Underground FAQ says they are rare to find in the underground. I have yet to find a single one down there. Luckily, wild Cleffas and Clefairies in Mt. Coronet have a very good chance of holding moon stones. I was able to thief 3 moon stones outta 5 Claffas/Clefairies within 20 minutes.

Also, if anyone has a Porygon, up-grade, and dubious data, I need to evo trade that too.

I may get on WiFi later today. If so, I can trade...

All 3 dogs and birds.
Lugia
Jirachi
Shiny Tentacool (with damn good IVs I think)
Groudon
And other shit.

I really want a shiny Skorupi and Azelf. Badly.

Anyone have suggestions for a Skarmory build? Right now I'm trying to get an Adamant one that knows Drill peck (Keen eye too, since I don't know a single person who actually uses the OHKO attacks), but I haven't come up with anything for countering Fire and Electricity attacks.

I really wish Skarmory could learn Earthquake. It might be overpowered then, though

Moon stone is rare?
I guess it's version dependant.. I've dug up Moon Stones frequently..

I'd say Moon Stone's fairly frequent to dig up.. I've never dug a sun stone up though. But I haven't got a Sunkern or Gloom.
I heard the inserted game affects some things.. I have Fire Red inserted most of the time..

I know that inserting a Pokemon game from the Advance series makes certain Pokemon appear in the wild. Since you have Fire Red inserted, you will be able to see Elekids in the wild near Valley Windworks. Growlithe and Ekans will also appear in the wild too, just in different locations.

I'm looking for someone who has Leaf Green so I can get some of the Pokemon that appears when you have the game inserted. That would include Magby with a Magmarizer so I can evolve Magmar, Vulpix, and Sandshrew.

I know people in real life that have Ruby and Sapphire and I do planning on getting Emerald for various reasons. That's why I'm looking for someone with Leaf Green. I already have Fire Red and I don't want to buy the other one for just 3 Pokemon.
