You don't need it but it's in the D/P Safari Zone equivalent (unless I'm thinking of a different HM).

The foggy route is nothing.. But I do remember a foggy cave somewhere. That was annoying. There's someone in Pastoria who says someone in the great marsh has the damned HM, I took a while to realise he was near the start. ><

Well... just got the National Pokedex. Transferring the Pokemon I don't use in Fire Red and Ruby over to Pearl, so... yeah.

Well, when I played Ruby and Fire Red I started playing it and then just lost interest in it altogether after two weeks. Pearl I seem to be getting more into, seeing as I took on the Elite Four in only a week, the fastest I've ever done it.

Might be because of the Wi-Fi aspect or something. Pearl just seems more interesting than Fire Red or Ruby to me.

Yeah, you only really NEED defog for Turnback cave when going after Giratina after beating the elite four. Also, after beating the elite four, a new path in Victory road cave opens where Defog is needed because of the maze like nature of that area.

cpubasic, you gonna transfer your Ruby starter? Even if you dont, do you think you could breed your starter in Ruby and then transfer the baby once it hatches?
I will be happy to trade you any 1st or 4th gen starter, or any Eevee type, or alot of other stuff I've mentioned in previous threads, thanks.

Currently, my pokedex reads 284/493 Anyone have all 493?

Yeah, definitely. I gotta get a Ditto for easy breeding, but I'll be trying to get the starters for Ruby and Fire Red over as soon as possible and begin the breeding process ASAP. Makes for interesting trades that way.

I took the same walk route as before. I ended up lost as hell. I found Giratina no troubles.. but.. getting there again is like. ugh.

Damn, mine is quiet (Which is +spatk and -spd, for those who don't know)

He often ended up using struggle and killing himself, after a thirty minute fight. So when I finally caught the bastard, I just wanted out of Turnback.

By the way, I did that completely without Defog. Including fighting Giratina.

Same here. The fight was at least 50 minutes of missing and ball throwing.
I think I used about 70 Dark Balls on it.
