Lets say I go pick up a egg at the day care. If I then leave to the next route and open the day care checker
I see that my eevee's have made a new egg all ready. O_o (this is scary)

Green-Kirby: That´s a sign that the pokémon in the daycare center likes eachother. They produce eggs like rabbits on steroids.

Check this. The site can be slow but it usually works after a few tries.

They will produce an egg. But it´ll take longer than usual. If the daycare man had said that they prefered to play with other pokémon, they wouldn´t have produced an egg.

The Ditto doesn´t matter as it´s genderless so you don´t need to catch another.

Great to hear. Thanks. Can you give me an idea of how long "longer than usual" is? Is it strictly time based? As in I can just come back after a certain time has passed. Or is it step based. As in i have to walk 1000 steps before an egg is produced.

It's always step-based, but it may take up to 2000 steps before they make an egg.

A pokémon with Flame Body in your team could lower the steps with up to 50%. I´m not sure if it works in Diamond/Pearl, though.

Sweet! I got the egg and it took about 2700 steps to hatch. That was WITH a Camerupt in my party who has the Magma armor ability. So without him it would have taken 5400? Yikes. Actually I just read that the ability only lowers the required steps by 1 third, not half. but whatever, I got myself a level 1 Piplup..cool.

I am going to now breed my Torterra and Infernape. If anyone wants to trade for the babies, let me know and I will list my friend code. Thanks for the info Alastor and Trapster.

I worked out Magma Armor reduces steps by roughly 46/48%. (Forgot exact) The effect of Magma Armor and Flame Body stack, so you'll hatch in like.. a third of the time? ____________________

Ha, this breeding stuff is pretty damn cool. I just bred 2 piplups, 2 turtwigs and 2 chimchars in like a span of 15 minutes. I just bicycled up and down through Solaceon town and its sorrounding routes.

Anyways, like most people i want to complete my pokedex, not capture everthign, but at least have their description in the dex. I am assuming that if I battle someone with say..a Lugia, that then Lugia's pokedex info will be filled in.

If so, does anyone have a Lugia or some other legendary so that we may battle and fill in my dex.

My friend code is 3050 4241 4878 (will add to profile later) and while I don't have any Pokemon that are really worth anything for now, I'm in need of some Psychic Pokemon. Everytime I search for an Abra on GTS they ask for either lvl 100s or legendaries. I'm not that desperate for one.

Just notify me when you add me so I can add you.

Also, I'd like a Chimchar and/or Piplup if anyone doesn't mind. I don't have much right now, so... I can't really make a good offer for one (unless you don't mind). Once I get farther into the game then maybe I'd get some good Pokemon for trade for one of them.

I got a Kadabra just now, which I mainly need for the gym. Later on when I get some good Pokemon I'll consider trading for it.

Highest level I got is a 32 Luxio, so... yeah, definitely need to get a lot more Pokemon...

Tragedy! You cannot fill in pokedex entries from battling someone over wifi..my master plan has been completely utterly foiled. I just battled cpubasic with my dialga, whom he did not have the dex info yet. After the battle, he still did not have Dialga dex info.. damn!

Looks like I am going to actually trade and get all those crazy legendaries if I want to complete my dex..

So..anyone have a mew/mewtwo/lugia/ho-oh/groudon/kyogre/celebi? I will trade it back, really. I just want the dex info to be fileld in. Ask cpubasic, I am an honorable man..
