Actually, I did a search for Magikarp on GTS just for the heck of it, and found seven people all offering like level 1 Magikarp wanting legendaries and other such shite. But people are stupid enough, so I wouldn't put it past them to do it. The only thing I've found that doesn't get taken up is Unown. It's basically impossible to unload an Unown onto anybody... At least, it is for ME.

It tells you what stat gets extra bonuses during level ups. If it "likes to run a lot" (or something) then it will have a really good speed stat.

That seems incorrect. My shiny adamant Medicham has perfect/near-perfect (hard to tell at level 40) attack and speed, and it says "Alert to sounds." That seems like speed, but his ATK looks better/equal.

I knew he was wrong, but I was too lazy to point it out. Also, I don't feel he would have understood the explanation well enough to warrant typing one out.

Update: Apparently, this "flavor text" is actually an indicator of which stat IV is highest. Info is at a premium right now, and no one knows for sure what causes which phrases to pop up, but according to Smogon, "Alert to sounds" is one of the highest ranking phrases for Speed. Due to the Nature (Adamant increases Attack by 10%), and the training in Attack EVs Alastor put into it, it makes sense that Attack could be higher, even though Medicham's Base Attack is 20 points lower than Base Speed. Chances are, His Speed IV is 30 or 31, and Attack is 30 or slightly lower.

Do you have exact numbers for IVs for that Medicham, Alastor?

-Chimchars (took me forever for an adamant one)
-Eevees
-Mudkips
-Spiritombs (I do have a bold female so... EVERSTONE TIME)

I've got a bunch of like... all of the above. In some cases (like chimchar) I have like 30 of them. I'll gladly trade them if its for something good.

All I really want are like... items, mainly lucky eggs, choice bands, and macho braces, and/or shiny but those are probably not equal trades or somehting D: Although a decently leveled Garchomp would be nice...or some shinys >>;

Speaking of Battle Park...

Does the Battle Tower only give 3 per round except against Palmer (20)?

And am I the only one getting hacked by the WiFi's Battle Rooms? Too many Heatrans and Feraligatrs that kill a Latios in a Hydro Pump?

But seriously I have tons of eevees to trade.
Right now there is some pokemons I want (listed bellow) in trade you get a lvl 1 eevee.(Have 1 right now and one egg at the daycare to pick up

)

So far I want:

(Pay 1 eevee for any of these)

Caterpie: Under lvl 10 Female.

Caterpie: Under lvl 10 male. "Breading hehehe"

Spinarak: Under lvl 10.

(Pay 2 eevee for any of these, Or 1 eevee specific nature: that I have)

Spinarak: any lvl male. + Spinarak: any lvl female.

(Pay 3 eevee for any of these, Or 1 eevee specific nature and TM learned and random hold item)

Shiny Caterpie: Under lvl 20

Shiny Unknow ( S ? + ): Under lvl 20

I "will" update list if there is more I want but that's it for now. So, need a eevee get me what I want or offer me any pokemon that you think I'm interested in. And maybe we can get a deal.

Just got Pearl. Haven't beat the first gym yet (got my ass handed to me) but with a little bit of training I'll be able to beat it.

I got owned. I traded my shotty Ho-Oh from Colleseum (yup, the one with bad IVs) and a lucky egg for a Deoxys that ended up having a bad nature. Blech.

Yeah, that first Gym can be a doozy. I had to reset 3 times after losing to the leader. I then went onto play the rest of the game (including beating the Elite 4) without ever dieing again.

Anyways, does anyone know how to breed and stuff? I have never actually bred in Pokemon games before, but this time I want to get into it. I have a male level 57 Empoleon and a level 23 ditto. I put them in the daycare so that I could get a pinlup egg. The daycare man says that they don't like each other.

Will they still produce an egg? If not, what can I do to get them to like each other. Do I need to catch a different ditto?

They will produce an egg. But it´ll take longer than usual. If the daycare man had said that they prefered to play with other pokémon, they wouldn´t have produced an egg.

The Ditto doesn´t matter as it´s genderless so you don´t need to catch another.
