I call it imprisonment.

To be free in nature,
wild, untamed.

to run through the mountains,
and climb through the trees.

To breath the fresh dew, from
the crisp morning air.

Unbridled by worry,
Unhindered by fear.

To feel passion once more,
for all that is done.

And to once more be whole,
as the world is let go.

To be free in nature,
as we're supposed to be.

It may not be the most excellent poem I have ever written, but to me it has a lot of power to it. I'm trying to make a statement on how society traps us in with work, school, and adds in borders and boundaries for life, when few of us are truly happy and get to enjoy life.

We work from day to day, and some of us come home to nothing. And once in awhile, when your late to work or school and really don't give a shit, you go outside after a rainstorm, and you smell the fresh spring air and wish you could escape the meaningless toils you must perform everyday without reason.

For mans roots are from true freedom, and to deny that is to deny oneself.

At least thats the way I feel.

I went into detail because I think most people would interpret it as some sort of "go back to nature" sort of deal. Technology is fine by me, but we shouldn't live in a world that revolves around the work people do, we should live in a world that revolves around the people in it. A world that cares when they are sick/injured. A world that understands that some people are truly alone.

If you like it, I can write more I guess...
