For the same reason, Stadium 1 highlights G/S tradebacks that had otherwise legit moves which said Pokemon couldn't learn normally in the 1st generation.

I remember on Silver (the ONLY GSC game I did not hack at all, the others were sharked so much they wouldn't let me trade with another game

), my friend gave me a Scizor that knew Fly, and the only reference to its hackness was on Stadium, in which the move name was in red.

That's it.
