I've been thinking about programming something like a music editor for a while, but it's nothing more than a vague idea ligering in my mind for now. It would probably need almost as many routines as there are games, unless music code is similar betwen games, which I doubt...

Many games have music with big chunks of hard-coded peculiarities, which makes an universal editor even less imaginable. But still...

Yeah, I would just make game-specific music hacking utilities. It would probably be much easier that way. Make a bunch of 'em!

I don't know if the editor called MIDI→ROCKMAN3-6NSFtool consider as a Music Editor for NES/Famicom Rockman 3 to 6 ROMs. Don't know if they work with US or European versions but I have a feeling that in between games do or do not share the same ROM offset.

I never tested it yet due to fact that I may come home late from work so Tomorrow for me might be suitable.

Megaman 1, 2 and 4 have their own music Disassembly so editng with the hex editor may be a choice.

If you curious about it, the tool can be found here.

Here is something I've just recently started on, but will definitely finish:

The only thing that sucks is I cannot get Townedit to work on any computers that I try them on, all with different errors as to why. Oh, well. For now I'll just concentrate on graphics and text changes. And then music.

If the actual tool only parses ROM data and text files, it would suffice as a command line app... kinda smells of portability.

Just something I'm doing for fun. I'm going to try to improve on the graphics a bit more.

We decided there should be an area in between the clock tower and Dracula, so here's what I've done so far for the Golden Hall

Smooth as alwasys, Doc.

Here's something I'm working on for my custom-built platform game engine:

Yeah. It's a hack of Dragon Warrior. What's stupid is I don't even know which version of the rom it is because I downloaded the rom a really long time ago and just changed the name of it to Dragon Warrior.nes. Oh, well. I'm a little far into the hack to just start over though.

Haven't posted in months, but eh. Been learning Super FX, and figured I'd show something I've done, even though it's been up for a few weeks already.

I've actually put together a ROM map for Yoshi's Island, which you can find here. It's updated whenever I find time to work on the disassembly.

That's all.
