He's a temp (or maybe he's well enough?) character for the Happy Mask Salesman. The "story" behind this hack is Link is running around collecting masks for the Salesman, and selling them in exchange for profit, in one singular dungeon, where Shadow Link is present.

There was a Happy Mask Salesman in Oracle of Ages, if you feel like using an "official" sprite.

YOU JUST PWNED SMB3! THAT IS COOL!

I would like to see the spin jump while pressing up+A (or up+B). But this might require lots of ASM unless you do make it just like Goomba/Kuribo's Shoe!
(Think of SMA4 SMB3, But don't need to add stars unless you really want to!)

Dahrkdaiz, you always try to entertain us with your new ASM techniques don't you. I thought you quit ROM-Hacking unless one of their SMB3 Hacks brought you back.

I would have been learn some 65816 ASM knowledge by now with the SNES rom address for SMB3 but it isnt enough. Plus I have no knowledge in those what you have in the NES version.

Which is why I stopped hacking and/or researching SMB3. Most of them are impossible for me to grasp.

Yes, yes I do. Actually, my inspiration to restart a new hack was for the following reasons:

My Editor
Jasp's hack
Mario Adventure's huge attention and Luigi vs Mario's lack there of.

It bothers me that Mario Adventure received so much attention but it suffered from a bad case of SLD (sucky level design). I plan to remedy this with the true Mario Adventure 2.
