Good work with the Toad SMB3 hack, Googie. I usually I prefer level design over graphic changes, so I'm looking forward to it...

Preview of Sunset Canyon. The sky in the video looks green because of the emulator.

Looking nice as usual Rockman. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you come up with. As far as my stuff goes, here's a sprite of Castlevania's #1 pretty boy

**EDIT**

"Load screen", these will be more of a visual queue that you're going to a new area than anything in this hack.

Heh, Mega Man X music in a Mario 3 hack--never thought I'd see the day! But it is a fun combination.

Logical Operand: The background of that level still looks a bit bland; consider adding something into it, be it clouds or just background cliffs or whatever.
Is that music part of the hack or just something you added on top of the video?

Something he put on top of the video. You can hear the music fading out in the end but the pipe-down sound being at normal volume.

Consider it done. I did a lot more changes to the level, last night, after I made the video. I added more enemies, added some more terrain. When you go into the pipe, it doesn't end the level. There is still one more part you have to go through, but it is easy. I had no choice but to make this level as short as it is, otherwise it would corrupt the FlameStag-level I made.

If that's really the music that plays in that level, it's a bit too high-paced.

That and it's kinda missing that whatever-you-call-it when-music-actually-sounds-good.

And on an unrelated note, you do realize that your username has an extra space appended, right?

Cool Music, Did you make a converter? If So, Is It a MIDI converter?

Because I really need one. If you can lend me it, PM me if possible (please?)

(Factoid: Did you know that the music data format is similar to SMB2's music data?)

Raccoon Sam is right. Though I'd love to have this music in the actual game, music will be one of the final things I do to the hack. Meaning, its a long way off.

I spent a few hours on this. World 3, Wire Sponge Stage! The whole level is done, but half of the level will have rain in it! I will show a video of it later when I have the rain finished.

Thanks Trax, I'm glad you like my designs so far. I plan to make them nowhere near my first SMB3 hack Wario 3 lol! Here's another pic of Gary's Nuts...

I plan to edit the title screen soon, I gotta find Elbobelo's title screen data. I hope I didn't lose it... ^^'

I'm digging the recent screens fellas, thanks for motivating me...

I dunno, due to possible size constraints, I think this is the best I'm going to be able to make this one...

I guess something like that could work

Very nice. I don't usually care for SM64 stuff, but your videos kept me entertained. Are you making a hack, or just playing around with the ROM?

That Rainbow Road is actually customisable , as it consists of a bunch of "track pieces" (custom models with individual solidity behaviors). Here is it with the original texture:

I haven't worked on it for a while, but the idea is to create a simple slide level. Also, I'm not really working on a hack, because I'm still testing how the game performs on a level which uses only solid objects instead of a level geometry. However, I have released a few patches of earlier versions of my "improved" Flatworld, you can find them at the .. other board . Eventually, I would like to finish a 6-star level.
