Looks like the bridge is blocked o:

(Ignore the fact the torches are missing in the 2nd screenshot. I changed it after and you can see so in the 3rd screenshot)

A little code for Ocarina of Time by me that mimics the TP for the Wii interface

doubt anywhere near being close since genesis ASM would be alot more complicated than 6502.

Don't take it too seriously, but from what I've heard, 68000 Assembly is one of the simplest around.. Could be just that I've been misinformed, so yeah...
68HC11 is supposedly related to the 68000 processor.

I programmed for both the 6502 and 68HC11. If it's anything like the 68HC11 processor, it's really really easy to program for.

And neat, someone is actually hacking the "Zelda 64" games. :o

Oh well, rules are rules. So I'm gonna post it here to let you know what hacking Rockman Megaworld is like?

Visine Omega - Rockman Megaworld Editor

Yes, it is the editor for Rockman Megaworld Only. Not Megaman the Wily Wars. Of course I didn't design the editor since I have no knowledge of making it. It is created by a Japanese ROM-Hacker named Koribe.

Visine Omega is named after Visine which is a Megaman Editor for 1 and 2. Visine Omega can edit games for Rockman 1, 2, 3 and including Wily Tower. It also has a battery save fix option for the Rockman Megaworld ROM, can convert .bin files to .smd or .md, can decompress GFX and insert them. And much more. Although some of them is not supported yet.

I was one of the Beta Testers of the editor. And Koribe is gonna release it to the Public about next week. I'll put it on my website.

I've been testing and using different stuff throughout the whole game.

RM3 Menu in a RM2 Game

Here's Rush

I can Slide

Gemini Laser against Quickman

Wily Tower Weapon Menu

Time Stopper against the clone

Crash Bomb against the 3 clones

RM3 weapons vs. RM2 Bosses in Wily 5.

Koribe's Webpage

I always wanted to hack Rockman Megaworld anyway.

Oh for gods sake, use capitalization and don't replace words with numbers.

1] Not everything is been edited. Sprite Support hasn't been issued in the editor yet. Only levels and scroll/screen support. Of course it is not the same way you edit with the orginal visine or MegaFLEX.

2] The download for Visine Omega will be here just a few days this week. I'll let everyone know when it's official.

Wasn't there a old Megamen editor called Visine, that was in dos?

...is those two editors even made by same author perhaps?

In other words, not if you ask me.

Those shots is not a joke. I'm done fooling around since Rockman Megaworld. Time to be serious and a serious ROM-Hacker. I've been doing Afterworld 8 for Super Mario All-Stars since July 2006 and lost interest of that project because I need to learn some ASseMbly for Super NES games.

And yes, Roxharis did show me the tool in the JUL Board that can convert all NES hacked games to the SNES Version called Smb2Smc (Super Mario Brothers to Super Mario Collection). I tried it too and it was quite good. But I'm gonna port all levels to the specific offset to the US version of Mario All-Stars and add new features and graphics to the new version of Afterworld 8 for the SNES.

I'm not doing the project now because I wanted to do Megaman first before going back to the Super NES Project.

NOTE: Smb2Smc works for the Japanese Super Mario Collection, not US Super Mario All-Stars. And I'm gonna dump and insert those levels with Windhex.

The Armor Knight and Spier-thing (?) seem to blend into the backdrop a tad, but that's the problem with only four palettes It's something that can't be fully helped.

But those 16x16 pillars seem blocky to me, since the shading isn't constant, and instead fades out. If you wanted to retain that style, perhaps add some thing row of bricks or something to make the column look as if its put together, rather than stacked on top of each other if that made sense

But as always, it's good looking as-is ^^

Actually only three. The 4th one is used for the status bar, so I can't really mess with it... As for the columns, I'm going to mess with them a little, I'm trying to sort of retain the architecture of Dracula's castle, and for the most part, columns are like that, where they would be built one short segment at a time.

Pokémon in Dark Mario?

I need an opinion on this. It wasn't meant to be a Diglett, just an angry hill, but the idea popped in my head. Why not throw some Pokémon animations in? I made level-specific animations for the backgrounds. The levels are going to be bigger also.

What if Mario could catch Pokémon (it gets stored in the item box)? A fun idea to play around with. And have the Pokémon level up?

Dark Mario is going to be huge. I have already done a huge amount of work on this game. Sometimes I question myself whether it still IS Dark Mario. Could change direction......

EDIT - I forgot to add, that if you like Luigi better than Mario, he will be playable in World 3. You play as Mario in Worlds 1 and 2. World 3 will be Luigi.

Pokémon would be a little bit silly, considering the overall mood of your hack. You could always throw in a cameo somewhere...

Hehe, I really love the idea of a SML2 hack.

There's really not too many of them at this point. How much work is done on that hack? Just that level, or is there more?

Only that level.
My notes can be seen at this lousy host. I update them sporadically. In fact, I would've uploaded a new one just now but login is temporarily unavailable.

Be sure to hover on the Octopus for mild hilarity.
