What a weird choice of music for a NES hack trailer.

Nevertheless, I liked what I saw a lot. Say, what happened to your SMW hack if your main focus of work has shifted to that?

I like your graphics style and the levels aren't littered with idiocy. I'm going to like Mario's Destiny 8)

I'm kinda fed up with SMW. I've only made some changes to the 3rd boss since I released the demo. I'm not sure when I'll continue working on it
(but it's not dead!)

That's rather common on Youtube. I figure most of the time it's because people hadn't the sound recorded, so they put a song so it wouldn't be totally empty... personally I would prefer hearing the sounds from the game.

Still, that hack looks really nice. The overworlds is quite similar to the original overworlds, but that isn't bothering me too much.

Ghettoyouth, you are a graphical genius! Reminds me of when I was motivated enough to hack. I miss those days...

I've mentioned it a couple times now that I'm doing some Super Metroid hacking. I guess you guys hadn't seen anything yet so here are a couple shots from since I started (that means some are old by now).

Work is going steadily. I'm at Brinstar right now. Crateria isn't finished but I think I've decided to make the rooms as the flow of the game goes on.

One minor thing though... it's "somebody set up us the bomb", not "somebody set us up the bomb".

Just a new (two days old) song to show right now:

"The Key Mirage"

People who I've talked to have really liked the percussion in this, along with the way the melody flows with it. So yeah, comments would be cool.

Drewseph mentioned to me that I should pull the Save Stations out of their rooms and after a little figuring the loading stuff out, I now have Save Stations in large rooms a la Redesign.

@ghettoyouth: The level design and graphics look nice. My only suggestion is updating the Mario sprite, it doesn't fit in.

@FirePhoenix0: Looks good, I like the "Somebody set up us the bomb" room. :O

Maybe a list of features and screenshots would coax me into downloading a nasty RAR file? I don't like downloading something only to be disappointed. This is a screenshots thread you know.

edit: You'll also have to convince me that the final product is better than using Notepad++ with custom syntax highlighting and batch files for the actual assembling.

Does this look bad? I'm experimenting with ripping some stuff from pictures of the Game.com version of SotN

Through a lot of hard work and some suggestions from Vystrix Nexoth, the curtains are no longer bland.
