So Chorus of Mysteries is almose done, we're just finalizing everything, putting the finish touches on it, and cutting down on Medusa heads. Here's a new enemy that replaces the eagles that drop fleamen.

It's inspired by the bizzare enemies from the Splatterhouse series. It's a giant flying head that spawns little eyeballs that chase after you.

Yup, Dragon Master got it right. Sorry Kawa. Though when you play the game there is a second one as well (not in the screen, don't kill yourself looking) so just because you found this doesn't mean you'll be able to find the second.

School's over, so I can work back on some projects
Here is the password input I just finished implementing this morning :

Took me a while to get it to look almost clear

Holy crap. How long did that take to implement into your hack JaSp?

Nice work.

That's really awesome but I don't like the Star spin animation. It's basically just too papery. Add a bit depth. Only a bit.

I made it.
It looks papery on purpose... because that's how I picture Super Mario stars. I might try something else later though, but not anytime soon.

Dr. Mario: That looks really neat, I love the Splatterhouse series myself.

Googie: That's a nice screen shot, I never heard of this game. I'm going to have to check out this game for myself, I hope to see more soon too.

JaSp: I fell in love with that video, I can't wait for the final product when it's done, nice job getting the password system in there.

The password input kicks ass, seriously. That's one creative thing I don't think I've ever seen done before

I assume you will obtain the password from other levels in that world if you don't know it right away?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments!
Koitenshin: it took me a few hours; but I already had the dialog boxes code, I just had to add the password input and re-arrange some things here and there.
Stifu: don't bother for the stars if you don't have time, I personally like them this way
S.N.N.: yeah, you'll find the passwords anywhere, a character giving it to you, or maybe written with coins in the air ? Who knows!
Sparks: I'll think about other SMW musics, but iirc a friend of Stifu was willing to compose original music for it, so it might be nicer to have brand new musics!

Yeah, I find that you ten to be much happier with brand new arrangements, instead of ones from other games. When optomon first got on board for Chorus of Mysteries, I pretty much gave him a list of songs from Symphony of the Night, but then he did his own songs, and I liked them a lot better. Well with the exception of Dance of Pales, but that had to stay.
