It looks like SMB3 hacking is coming back into action. I think I had a long enough break from it. I'll probably start hacking again next week, if I get my new computer that is (still didn't get it yet). In the meantime, I'll be thinking of innovative ASM and level ideas on graph paper.

Yo Dr. Hell, have you ever thought of hacking SMB3? I would love to see what you would come up with, since you are very good at sprites and graphics.

I'm not exactly sure on the Palette Gimmick at the moment. But I do know this. All Palette releated edits were done in SMB3 Workshop...So they will work on all Emulators without needing another file.

Thos new tiles are quite repetitive and bland, and not only that, they don't really match with the rest of the art in the level (unless you're planning on changing the rest, too). Try adding more variety into the tiles, make them look busier, but not just generic geometric shapes.

Yeah, you need to be a little more realistic with the colors there. You want some advice? Get rid of that blue, and turn it back to black. That light blue on the status bar, put that back to black. Don't worry about those frame colors. Those colors should be standard for every world map. Instead, focus on the colors of the actual map itself.
