I'm doing a Megaman clone for the PC, below with placeholder graphics mostly ripped from Megaman:

Looks funky. What are you making it with?

Same as SMB3WS, Delphi 7. It shouldn't be too difficult to convert it to FreePascal, making it compilable on platforms other than Windows as well, but I haven't really looked into that yet.

I knew that. It just really looks like Disgruntled Ferret. Only, in a Mega Man costume.

That's awesome. Great to see that not all games nowadays are being made with Game Maker or Multimedia Fusion.

It's alright, some of us own the PC version. Just gonna toss in a fwap-fwap fanboy request, and ask that you include a keyblade.

On a side note, yay Soul Caliber!

Actually we ARE going to make a Keyblade a believe. It's hard to tell from those pics, but the characters are the Kingdom Hearts models.

Wanna specify why Pascal is so bad or just trolling?

Phew, finally finished 1-6. Took yet another month to complete a level.

Here are some screenshots.

1-6: The Bat Cave

*insert Batman theme here*

Once you enter the first big section of the bat cave, you'll trigger a bat generator that sends a swarm of bats at you.

After going through the first section of the bat cave, you'll emerge outside where a bunch of Koopa Troopas and Goombas are patrolling the area.

The annoying enemy from 5-1 that throws spike balls at you makes an early appearance.

The bonus room in this level is a submarine level. The first obstacle is to find the red coins without getting hit by the ball 'n' chain.

The second obstacle is to get that flower without getting hit by the Loch Nestor.

The final obstacle is to get the red coins while dodgeing the torpedoes the Boo Guys drop.

Back to the cave. Although I'm still using the same sprite set for this cave as the one before, 2 new enemies will appear. Sluggy is one of them.

There's 4 different paths that you can take here. Three of them lead to something good.

Well, that's all the screenshots I have for now.

Your screens are really nice fabio, but that pic won me over, you had me laughing and shedding a few tears on how hard I was laughing! More hacks need to have comedy in'em.

I like to consider myself above trolling, so okay.

From personal experience, I dislike Pascal with a passion. It was a restrictive language in that you could do anything (seen some nice demos), but only one way. Older DOS programs cease to work completely.

When I tried out Delphi, it was much more of the same. Too vague to come up with concrete examples, but that's fine with me.

Later, I tried some classic Mac development. This reintroduced Pascal to me and though I tried to keep an open mind, it still blew.

The Jargon File agrees with me that Pascal sucks. And just for kicks, here's a part of the Wikipedia, emphasis added:
Posted by "Wikipedia"
While very popular (although more so in the 1980s and early 1990s than now), early versions of Pascal have been widely criticised for being unsuitable for "serious" use outside of teaching. Brian Kernighan, famed populariser of the C programming language, outlined his most notable criticisms of Pascal as early as 1981, in his paper Why Pascal Is Not My Favorite Programming Language. On the other hand, many major development efforts in the 1980s, such as for the Apple Lisa and Macintosh, heavily depended on Pascal (to the point where the C interface for the Macintosh operating system API had to deal in Pascal data types).

In the decades since then, Pascal has continued to evolve and most of Kernighan's points do not apply to current implementations. Unfortunately, just as Kernighan predicted in his article, most of the extensions to fix these issues were incompatible from compiler to compiler. In the last decade, however, the varieties seem to have condensed into two categories, ISO or Borland like, a better eventual outcome than Kernighan foresaw.

Hmm.. They're the KH models as in.. you ripped them from KH somehow, or that they're based after the KH style graphics? If the former, I'd be very interested in knowing how you guys did that. =P

I love playing around with graphics, so I'd really get a kick out of being able to tinker around with the KH models..

I actually don't know how it's done. I'm only doing the weapon models. There's two other guys ripping the character models.
