I've never been banned at any forums I vist. Yet. I say yet because I might commit account suidice on the other board. I doubt I will but there is always the chance I will. ____________________

I've suicided a few accounts on boards that have gone to shit, and been banned from here once or twice as a joke, but I don't recall any others. Oh, wait, there was some anarchy/general stupidity board I hung out at when I was 14 or so, that banned me for knowing too much (read: knowing how to work around a "maxlength" HTML attribute and creating very long thread titles). By then I realized how dumb the subject matter was anyway so I didn't care to go back. (Really, I just enjoyed reading peoples' stupid plans to commit stupid crimes ("lol how i build bombs"), and discussing how to hack a school computer. )
There are no records of either but my very first venture onto any sort of electronic forum was a town-wide BBS using the school computers. I don't even remember any of my posts, and it got shut down after a while. IIRC, my first foray into the actual Internet was on some random site's Java-based IRC channel, where I used the name "BoWzR". I also had a Hotmail address under my real name, but quickly moved to pika98765@yahoo.com because Hotmail was utter garbage. (Another of my early screen names.) I started using Mozilla and Yahoo eventually started only supporting IE, so I got an account at lakmail.com (some service based in Sri Lanka, the first free service I found that wasn't Hotmail or Yahoo). I don't recall why but I eventually went back to Yahoo as micros0ft_hater255@yahoo.com (lol!) and later to Gmail.
I think the first forum I joined was CMGSCCC.com, a code hacking site. It was a nice place back then, met some good people there, probably would have gone out with one of them if she didn't live in Pensylvania.  I eventually just plain stopped going there in favour of GSCentral, and stayed there for a long-ass time until Rune killed it a few months back. At this point I waited a few weeks for Kodewerx to fix their broken IP ban list that classified me as a spambot, and joined there.
When I made my first ROM hack ever (which I don't think I have a copy of, but it might be out there), which turned Mario into a girl in SMB1 using NESTicle, I wasn't familliar with the concept of ROM hacking. I asked about it at GSC, they directed me to Zophar.net's crappy forum. Someone there pointed this place out to me, I think it was still an EZBoard at the time, or at least a very early build of Acmlmboard. I don't recall ever signing up, though I meant to, and it eventually went down. Someone else on Zophar's pointed me to Total Animé Forums (a Pokémon hacking site which I think is still around under some other name), and someone there eventually pointed out that acmlm.overclocked.org was back up, and I joined. You should be able to fill in the blanks fairly easily from there. |

I was banned at one place for posting too much (on a board that was teeming with postcount++ threads, and other more established members were posting as much as I was), and at another place for my political views. Generally, if I noticed an admin going on a banning rampage at Acmlm's, I stopped posting for a while. |

Incarnation 2 Profile. Looks like NSNick isn't the only one keeping track of ACS results.
To this day, I still have no idea who added "This guy has potential.  " to my layout. I do know it happened when most of the staff became admins during October 2005.
First post. I knew nothing about ROM hacks so I asked the question in the Help/Suggestions forum. It should have been in the ROM hacking forum instead.
First bump. Yeah, I didn't know bumping was bad at first because I thought the rules were the same as GameFAQs. Big mistake. n00b question that can be easily answered in the LM help file. I can't believe I asked that question. I also learned that I was using an older version of Lunar Magic. That is all. |

My first posts were kinda stupid questions, but I was overly polite about them, and tried to use the help file as much as possible. I can't believe I made a "How far are you in demo world" thread. Of course, looking back, I can't believe I spelled everybody wrong either. It seems the majority of my posts were just useless compliments, or questions that weren't that difficult. Hah, I also seem to have never used a single comma, ironically, I think I overuse them now. XD ____________________ There are things I want to put here. Like a cool picture, my 8-bit theatre character test result, my MS and RO characters... But it's 12 AM, and I'm sleepy. |
