The Quest of Lala is a complete level hack of The Adventures of Lolo. This time, the damsel in distress, Princess Lala is the protagonist and Lolo was the one kidnapped by the Devil King AKA the evil King Egger.
The levels are based on the PC game “Eggerland: Episode 0 - Quest of Rara”, but improvises were made since the NES game has limitations in displaying too many enemies and moveable blocks, and some items not available from the PC version (e.g. mirror blocks and the enemy teleportation bug). The PC game has 32 rooms, so the unreleased "Kopio levels" are present to accommodate the remaining rooms. This hack was made with the Neptune level editor. If anyone has a copy of the original PC freeware game, please share it!
