How about a "Mark forum permanently read" type of feature? Frankly, there are some forums that I just don't care if they have new posts in them, and it would help keeping up with the forums I do care about if I didn't have to see all the other s. |

I agree completely. Some of the forums I never go to but it annoys me when I see a "NEW" thingy somewhere, so I have to click "Mark forum read". ____________________ |

I never notice them. My main page seems to have become "Latest posts." ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

Flurry #&postrank& I go to "Latest posts" all the time too ... it's usually 2-3 pages but it's still faster than looking through every forum (and skipping the ones you don't care about), and I don't even need to use "Mark forum read" because everything on that page is new
Otherwise, I still think a "ignore forum" feature would be better (to get it completely out of the way), but a "Mark permanently read" would be easy to do ... ____________________ |

While you're at it can you add a confirmation or something to "Mark All Forums Read"? |

That'd just slow people who don't click it accidentally down

It's not a matter of misclicking, it's a matter of instinctively clicking there after reading a list of PMs or a thread in that one forum where it shows up instead of Mark Forum Read. |

Posted by HyperHacker Then why not ask for the "Mark Forum Read" button to be swapped with the "Mark All Forums Read" button? Or, an option in profile! ____________________ Love your lawn. |
