OFF: Sorry for taking so much time to revive this but well... I went through my planned plot and realized that it needed some reworking. I also wanted to leave it more open-ended for you to add to it.

Well, now that I'm done, I think we can continue.

Maya: "So Delia, I think you should come with me for a while, just in case."

Maya tried her hardest to be sincere and to hide the truth. The conflicting emotions in her voice would trigger off anyone that was paying attention, but Delia was hopefully still shell shocked from the events.

Maya: "Really, you don't want to put yourself in harms way."

Luke walked away from Maya and Delia, noticing a very familiar face on the other side of the street. If his eyes didn't deceive him, it might help him track down that bastard Lexuk. When he was out of sight of Delia and Maya, he broke out of his walk into a dead sprint. Thoughts swirled in his head as the bard recalled the face.

It was Nijote, it had to be Nijote, the same eyes and smile. Luke saw her, her long bla--woah, wait a minute. Her hair wasn't black anymore, it was... blond? What? Luke stopped short as the woman he thought was Nijote turned around. It was Nijote, but she looked different now. There was no corruption around her or blood on her hands, was this just a look-alike?

Luke examined the threads of fate around her, it was Nijote, no doubt.

Luke: "What are you doing here?"

Nijote's nobody just looked at Luke.

Luke: "Rather, what is your name?"

Pastless: "Pastless."

It was Nijote's Nobody, what next?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

and now... the continuation...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Delia was just... confused. It didn't make sense...

She had always believed that all those tales about supernatural stuff was just that... tales... and now this...

Besides... a top-ranking "Ex" being student had just been... erased... or something.

"I don't know what's going on... but I think... it should be best if I followed you. What choice do I have, anyway..."

...

During this time...

...

"Sir... SIR?!? What happened, sir? Why... what did they do?"

"... pay no attention. No matter what befalls this weak form... It is so easy to find a new one, after all. What is more important... is the project."

"Oh... the project. Well, we have been working on it, just as you requested..."

"Excellent... I believe you have found the Dark Corridors, right? Did you redirect them?"

"Yes, we did locate them. We did not locate AE-01 and the others yet... but we have detected signatures. It shouldn't take too long for us to complete our project."

"Absolutely incredible! Truly, you have yet to disappoint me. Such competance is truly rare nowadays..."

"I take pride in serving you, sir."

"Yes yes, I see. Anyway... any news on this being?"

"Nijote? Yes... well, we did find the Heartless fragment and have begun regeneration of the Heart fragment... but the Nobody is missing. We are currently searching for it."

"I see. Make sure to find it... oh and... located this Dimension's Keyblade and its bearer?"

"No. Sorry, sir..."

"I understand... still, put this task higher in your priorities. It is, after all, vital to our plans..."

"Yes, it shall be done, sir."

"Good... now, I need some regeneration. Oh and... I have found some... entertainment. Send a few of our expendable agents. I wish to test them a little bit... to see if they might prove to be a sufficiently entertaining challenge..."

"Oh, customers? Hehehe... sure, sir. I shall make sure that our customers will be satisfied with our services. Do not worry about such things..."

"I see my optimism is shared..."

Luke: "What are you doing here?"

Pastless just seemed to look at Luke dully. A faint memory lingered in her mind, his face brought something back, but it was far to faint to remember it. Those determined eyes that seemed to be a gateway to everything, that faint hum in the air around him, all of it seemed familiar, but nothing tangible.

Pastless: "I..."

As Luke held one of her arms preventing her from escaping, he noticed that the very air around her was trembling. This was common for many whole people, it was a sign of unlocked potential or looming power, but for a nobody it was a first. It could be a sign of what might happen in the next few days, but Luke was confident he could handle it.

Pastless: "... I'm not really sure."

Some nobodies escaped from any organization and had no allies, no friends, nothing. It was very likely in Pastless' case. Her former self was very independent.

Luke: "Well... Maybe you should come along for a while, I know someone who'll be looking for you, and honestly I'd prefer if he didn't find you."

Lexuk's muddled vision of what had just occurred boiled his blood, but he had to trust in this possibilities powers to bring Nijote back to her most powerful form. With the help of Dark Wish he had recreated a very powerful heartless Nijote that would be able to combine back with her nobody. He also had secured the potent drug Nijote had been victim of for most of her child hood and teen years. The legendary agent of death would return with much more power than ever before.

He'd finally have an ally that would be able to fend off some of the bigger threats and create a stronger, more specialized force of heartless. He just had to wait.

Maya: "Delia, why is it that your dark weapon seems to be a little different from everyone else's?"

Maya had grabbed onto Delia's hand and was walking towards what appeared to be a hotel. A rather large one, something that only rich people could afford.

Maya: "Your's sounds different, I can hear it right now really. It's just different."

Maya opened the door and immediately took a left turn, walking up some stairs.

Maya: "I live in this hotel free of charge since I work here. Luckily they needed someone of my... talents."

Maya walked up the stairs to the third floor and walked down a hallway and opened a door into a very large room. It was decorated lavishly and the entire room seemed to be isolated from the rest of the world. Gentle sounds of water filled the room almost instantly easing tensions from anyone's mind.

Maya: "Make yourself at home, Luke will find his way here and then we can think of what to do."

Delia nodded weakly, still in shock from everything that had happened... "tha... thank you..."

She then looked back at her Dark Weapon while it stared back...

"I never noticed before but... why?" she asked. The weapon, connected to her thoughts, needed not the whole question and for once, decided to answer truthfully...

"I do not know myself... but although this world has been populated with "Ex" beings halfbreeds for aeons... the bloodlines are so diluted that I don't know if we can be called as such. Thus, I admit that... I would never feel as I currently do..."

It was then, at this moment, that Delia remembered one thing as she looked around the hotel room...

The bloodline was so diluted that although a connection was still possible... it had been millenias since an "Ex" being had been able to... "see".

... and right now, both looked at the room and saw absolutely no objects, their eyes seemingly blind for a brief moment... yet, what the nameless sense that now replaced their sight told them was beyond words...

... and it made Delia realize something.

Out of all the candidates... out of them all... of all souls and all places... it seemed that the last of the "Ex" being blood had found its way through the flows of human and humanoids bloodlines, still flowing through her veins despite the countless generations that separate her from her ancient, legendary ancestor...

The Dark Weapon blinked a few times. A small tendril emerged from the blade, a tendril of flesh that looked awfully out of place on the metallic object. The sword looked at the new, barely existent piece of flesh...

... it had begun to grow.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Of shattered souls and darkness...

In the Dark Corridors, the Heartless moved about, eternally seeking the Light yet never able to reach it... raging, souless shadows haunted by the last images they had felt before losing their senses of self.

Yet... among the faceless, some select Heartless stood out... Heartless of powerful beings who refused their fate. Although as empty as then others, the image that driven them was a powerful one... and they desire to reunite with what is rightfully theirs.

The Heartless were not alone... strange machines and souls hovered about, monitoring their progress, directing them, toying with the flow of shadows and powers.

The four Heartless' images of their past selves reminded them of the machines they saw and slowly, they stopped flowing alongside the others. They slowly moved and stopped, standing before the machines...

Pastless: "I'll be fine on my own."

Luke felt Pastless tug away from him, trying to pull her arm free.

Pastless: "I'm sure whatever it is, I can take care of it."

Luke released the grip around her arm. He might be able to force her to come along, but she'd break free eventually. So, he just had to convince her.

Luke: "Even if you can do it on your own, it still won't be safe. You can't run from the entire universe."

Pastless didn't know what Luke was talking about of course, but she felt compelled to hear him out.

Luke: "If he catches you, you'll be a slave again. You'll be forced to kill and forced to feed off the death you cause."

Memories rushed back into her mind, flashes of death she had caused, the feeling of her own berserk body, and the raw power it had once had. She turned pale as she could almost smell the blood. She looked at Luke and then took off in the other direction.

Luke: "Stop!"

Luke's yell never made it to her ears as she broke into super sonic speeds.
