I can understand your side Quick. Thank you for trying. You are putting it together and you know the most about the game so it is pretty much your hack with some levels designed by other people. Like I said before do what you have to. If you want I could design another level for you. |

Well, it will definitely take a long time until I can even release a first demo.
Especially if Thanatos-Zero doesn't want to answer to my PM. Seriously, if he doesn't want to help me, then he could just say "no". What irritates me the most is to not know the outcome... Also, anyone could list me NES games with levels on city rooftops? I would need the graphics from there. Thanks in advance! |

This is not really the place for your post... You should have posted this in your own thread. MM2's intro building? It's overused. You should search for a sidescroller game list or whatever, or check some maps here. For example Darkwing Duck's City level's second half takes place on rooftops. |

I guess I'l do my sprite request post on my actual WIP thread tommorow then.
Also, you're not completely right. Not everyone can learn spriting. I can frankensprite, which shows on my hack, but I cannot sprite anything from scratch, no matter how hard and often I try. I just can't. |

@Termin I already checked if there was a gui editor out for it and there is not. Those that can do it by hex edit let them do it if they understand it. For the graphics part of it, I see somethings that could use a very good face lift. |

Who's going aloof? What are you talking about? If you guys really cared about a collab you would be doing more than still posting nonsense. Mike you aren't doing anything. The one person who was trying is gone so hope you're happy. For those who don't know Quick released the Balloon Fight hack so any project you all have to start from scratch. What game can be decided on to hack? |

I never asked him to leave, nor did I ask him to loose his temper nor did I ask to grow cold on the project itself. Yes I am doing something for the project which is testing it throughout the project stages. If you have a problem with that. then damn you I don't know what else to tell you. In case you haven't figured it out yet its not all about quick wanting this project. If he comes back and wants to pick up where we left off at with this project I'm game for it. I don't know why it took you a few weeks to get real touchy about the matter and bring it up now. If you don't want any part of the collab from this point forward... Leave well enough alone and don't post back in here again and rebring up the small issue that has been solved. :| As for the project I already tested the hack when quick took off. I still think it needs abit of a gfx improvement and fonts and numbers could be updated. For the balloon enemies, I was thinking about using one of the koopas from the old mario and donkey kong games. For the grass set and dirt tiles dahk daiz has some good ones that would fit this nicely. |

You're not the boss of me and I have just as much right to free speech as you do so learn your own place. Unlike you I actually did contribute to the project while it was going on, so you can kindly shut your own mouth. If you even paid attention he stopped bothering when you accused him of saying stuff he didn't while you're the one who's guilty of what you claim. Believe that if it helps you sleep at night but you didn't do shit and you still aren't. Where are the posts on your reports? They don't exist outside of your head. You failed to read Quick's other posts about the project saying that he's done with it. It only exists because you selfish self-centered users wanted to make a collab hack only to do nothing when the opportunity came. And stop being so unappreciative. The graphics in the hack are ripped from other games as special appearances. Why should more work be done on the hack if you're not going to do your own demands? Do them yourself. Better yet like I said how about people agree on a game to hack that they'll commit to or just admit that you're not going to do anything so that people who actually care don't have to falsely believe there's still a chance something meaningful will happen. Not that you know but I've known Quick for years and I joined here to support him. You had your chance to. You failed. You lose. |

honestly, I think this thread would have gone much better if all the people making unreasonable posts were just given the silent treatment (or one-line dismissals) rather than engaged; I imagine many of those who would normally contribute decided to steer clear of the crossfire.
