Yeah, you have a point, that banner is somewhat outdated anyway so the games on it aren't hacked as much as Megaman etc., the ones designed by you lot should be used over this one.

I think though some themes (or as Quick said about the past board2 times, on certain pages) could change the logo, like what you can do in ABXD. So we can submit more than one new banner.

What we need is a [user=ID] tag so that we don't need all that garbage in your post when you quote it, just to write 'blackhole89'.

But it might be hard to code, it might be easier to just make them part of themes or something (and make some new themes, that reflect on what this site hacks mostly)

I would make a rough template but wouldn't know what ROM hacks to feature, so we have an idea on what to do.

I've only been here since late 2014 and wasn't really interested in the site until this August so I'm not sure what you particularly like, most people here have been around since 2007-2008.

What are the best hacks to feature in the board banner, though? Suggestions.

If that said Board 2 and not Acmlm 2, then that would be a really nice banner which would work for the site.

I see your point, although the site is called board2, it does make sense to have Acmlm in it as it is a successor according to the meta data.

I was too busy playing rom-hacks and looking at DKC hacking for the time being that's why I didn't do anything for now, but I'll be looking around.

Expect the images in a few days or so, I'll post a link to this thread in my signature so it is more noticed (or do you want to do it?).

I don't exactly kow which would suit the community best but we would need:

A megaman hack
An SMB3 or SMW hack

And two others, but I don't know what series as not much else is discussed on board2.

If I pick bad quality images or the wrong hacks then it'd be something more to moan about of me, so I need to get enough info before making a decision.

Not much was posted in the favourite ROM hack topic after the first few posts that had much relevance and it quickly turned into slight drama.

The last one's the only one from an actual screenshot; the rest are from YouTube footage but resized to 256x224, because I couldn't find many screenshots using google or bing of the hacks except from videos.

So it isn't the best quality but they are still images we can use for the board banner.

I'm not skilled at all with image editing so I can't do a logo for the site to go on the top, but the bottom should have something like 'Live the fun posting experience' like on the old Acmlm Boards, or change it slightly.

If anybody else has pictures for the banner, as Mike-Tech says, put them side by side of a resolution 256x224 per image.
