Seeing as it's August 29 it's the best time to post it here.

Why? Judgment Day was meant to be on that date 18 years ago, but it was averted in the original timeline.

The first two Terminators are the best of all time. They had a proper story and no big bullshit like the other three.

T5 was OK, but they made it just for the money and also to stop James Cameron getting the rights back in my opinion. And it is aimed at kids while the first two are free.

I don't consider T3-T5 proper Terminator films because they veered off and ruined everything. Maybe Terminator 2 should have had its original ending and then there would be no T3, 4 or 5.

However when Arnold Schwarzenegger dies, can you give the challenge of watching the T2 end? I don't even think a terminator could lol.

Anyway post here about terminator films.

The first was my favorite, but the second one was amazing too.

I love using Terminator and Alien along with Terminator 2 and Aliens as companion pieces. It's too bad James Cameron hasn't done anything as great as his earlier work lately. Avatar was visually great and brought nice 3D to the market (although few films have utilized it properly yet (Mad Max Fury Road used 3D perfectly though)), but I miss films like Terminator 1 & 2 and Aliens.

Yeah, forget the other three. I can't remember the other three but I'll always remember 1 and 2. In fact I have a few wmvs on my computer from terminator (converted to HD .mp4 then converted to HQ .wmv).

T1 really did show you can make a great film from a low budget (compared to T2 and the rest anyway). And the storyline evolved from a dream about a metal skeleton, chasing a woman (Sarah Connor), apparently.
