Ok. I suggest you put a better size limit on the custom titles. I did a little testing and was able to make it display a 1680x1050 Wallpaper picture....IN FULL SIZE. If you'd like me to I can demonstrate.

We have this thing called "trusting our users to not fuck up". Like before with the offsite avatars.

I did it once to prove a point. I just thought that img tags in the custom title is a bad idea. Hence the demonstration.
I don't need a warning as I have plenty of common sense. The only time I use the img tag in my custom title is if I have another 100x100 image I wish to display. That way it doesn't break the tables whatsoever. ____________________

Let's keep in mind that one could always put giant images in their posts too, or several megabytes of text, etc... there's many ways to break pages or be annoying on damn near any forum system that can't be prevented, so it's a bit silly to try to prevent others. Like Xk said, abuse will simply be dealt with manually. |
